I run in a US/Canada based group that races mainly GT4 cars weekly, and the odd radical/indy/cup car in the off season. We ran Calabogie last season and it was by far the best race! If youre interested I can send you an invite.

Love the fact you can import your local tracks! (also, if $20 is too much you can get it for $5ish cad on g2a by buying the CDKEY then adding it to steam)

Even on console the game is amazing, we can't get mods or anything like that at all so we're still stuck with the true base game (with some DLCs) and it's still one of the most fun games i've ever played and one of the most realistic games i've ever played. ACC on the other hand, it's definitely a step down in my opinion in terms of console, it's heaps more realistic but it's buggy and the updates come out 6 months later than PC and the FFB on low end wheels is worse than normal AC and now with their move to next gen consoles it's makes it that much less enjoyable for online also (and no more updates). All in all AC is amazing that's stood the test of time, even in its bare bones state on console

I haven't tried either on console, but I can totally see those being true - each game is maybe optimised for their targeted users, and with the ways we personally observe the player space, it seems most players on AC are on entry level hardware, and ACC maybe on DD wheels. Just speculation, but it sort of makes sense. without a doubt though, both games truly make racing a more global sport, regardless of online or at a physical track. Technology has spoiled us and for that, we're grateful
