Love your videos Freddie and Monica. My wife loves watching them with me. Bali is close to us, We live in Perth WA. and Ubud is our favourite place to stay, great riding from there. You do crack us up. The stuff drying out and being carried around on the bikes is the stuff that is growing in all the rice fields surrounding you. Its Rice 😅. Keep up the great work

As I type, 12,000 people have watched this video and I bet the majority would now love to visit Bali. You and Monika are doing a really great job in giving us an insight into the way Balanese people live and capturing the natural beauty of the island . . . and, of course, the bikes are great. 😁

When I lived in the UK my family lived near the beach (Formby) when I was a kid in the 70s. My dad's friend owned a garage and had a Land Rover pick up model, and we all used to pile in the back of it and he would drive over the dunes and then roar down the surf spraying water all over us! Unfortunately, this was banned due to erosion and a mobile dune system. So marram grass was planted to stabilise the dunes and the driving was prohibited! I still love beaches, they are magical places, especially as the sun is setting! You are showing us some wonderful footage. Thank you so much!

From Melbourne, Australia I authentically SECOND Keith's recommendation. The three greatest road trips I have EVER been on with my Triumph Bonneville T120 (in order) have been #1 Seattle to Anchorage via British Columbia and Yukon #2 The circumnavigation of Tasmania. #3 Helsinki to Oulu (Finland). In Tasmania the roads are well made and deserted, we drive/ride on the left, the scenery is AMAZING, and we even speak a bit of English! 🤣🤣🤣 Come on Freddie and Monika, you're out of excuses!!! Fabulous seeing bikes as the No 1 form of transport. How very different from the UK where it seems to get harder fir new bikers to get started every year, and where 2 wheelers are completely ignored as a congestion solution. Enjoy, looks fabulous. Safe, happy travels 👍

I've liked this motorbike since the first year it was released. But I merely liked it, not really wanting to own it. Until a few months ago, I saw someone riding this motorbike with side bags on it, that's when I truly wanted to own it. Since then, I began looking for videos about the W175 and came across your video. I watched this video almost everyday. And now, I can say that I’m a proud owner of the Kawasaki W175. Thank you, Freddie!

W175 are carburated engine. Engine are originally from Suzuki gs175. Suzuki and kawasaki tied up on making sub 250cc bikes for south east Asian market. The common difference on both engine was the balancer. Kawasaki barako 175 and gs175 don't have balancer while the w175 has. The newest barako 175 was already fuel injected with the same aircooled engine. Hopping the next version of the w175 are fuel injected.

Great video. I read that the authorities on Bali are considering banning tourists from hiring bikes due to consistent law breaking, such as riding with no helmets, no shirts, flip flops etc and instead the travel agents will have to provide rental cars for tourists. Enjoy the bikes while you can, I don't think rental cars will be as much fun.

Nicely filmed as always by Monika, Really enjoying the "off the tourist track" places, I will visit them next time I am over there. Yes, I agree with you and Keith, Tourism will slump if they bring in the bike ban. The Governor has not thought about the unemployment situation that it will bring. Great bike the little Kawasaki, it has a carb, not fuel injected. stay safe both of you, and enjoy your time on the island of the Gods.

We hired a 125 Honda and rode from Sanur to Kuta, mostly on the main road but cut off down a side track and rode the last bit along a boardwalk. I’m today’s old knowing a beach that can be ridden on motorcycle in Bali, gotta make sure this on my list when visiting there. It’s a shame that the bike got used and abused in salty environment, that’s the risk renting the bike. From the way I seen it in the video, the frame of the W175 was pretty much stock, they installed some custom side baggage and back baggage, slapped classic looking tire, original fuel tank, change the front fork and that’s it.

lt looks like a very interesting place, l love seeing what the locals carry on their scooters it wouldn't supprise me to see someone carrying a pig or goat on a scooter, clearly it's the only transport the family would have and why it seems completely normal to carry mum dad and a child or two on one. l'm not sure l would trust that Kawasaki as much as you Freddy, l used to restore 1930's Morris cars and the tyres that were fitted to the cars looked exactly like the ones fitted to the bike you've hired, and looking at the condition of that back tyre it looks like it was made in the 30's, also being a car tyre l wouldn't go leaning it around corners. That said it looks like your both having a great time together happy days.

@@FreddieDobbs How would Bicycles cut it do you reckon? Electric Bikes and Pedal Assist are becoming such a norm here, in all likelihood they'll replace Sickles there... I do wonder if (a) it'd be cheaper buying a bike for the duration of your stay now and selling it when (if) you leave and (b) if Scoots for Tourists are banned, if buying one rather than renting would be an option. They could just ban alcohol I suppose, or clamp down on drink driving.. ..and idiots.

@@FreddieDobbs yep hope so 😂 love the shots Monika took of you riding on that beach. I remember back when I was 16 years old I used to bunk off school and take my Yamaha FS1E to the beach and we would make a track and race our 50cc bikes against each other. I remember well a school minibus turned up full of kids from the same school and we have to hide behind the dunes. Next day in assembly the head teach asked us if we had a good day at the beach, spotted 😂😂😂
