Bro ishan was not the first choice opener in 2023 wc because shubhman was in Great form at that moment and also before ishan kishan 210 runs knock in that shubhan also hitted a double hundred and was more consistent than kishan and therefore he got the chance .And I guess Ishan needs a big ipl season like he did for Mumbai few years ago because in the last 2-3 years he hasn't been at his best.He hasn't performed much if you see his ipl stats in last 3 years.He truely has huge potential but he needs to perform ✨

Ishan kishan is a much more reliable batsman in ODI compared to Pant,Samson and KL Rahul. He has shown more consistency and performance than these 3 in ODI atleast. The only way for him to get noticed is to hit a mountain of runs in Upcoming IPL and remaining Domestic cricket tournaments this year since he is not close to Rohit ,kohli ,Gambhir or anyone in the selection committee or BCCI officials.
