There is this game called Cyberpunk 2077. You have the freewill to make many decisions in the game. However, it is the games creator that provides the choices. It is the games creator that knows what is going to happen based on the choices you make. You won't know until you experience those consequences. God is All Knowing because he knows everything that is knowable. He provides you the choice by the nature things are setup. The decisions belong to you. He knows the consequences of the decisions beforehand.

If he is all knowing, he already knows the decisions you will make, so you don't have free will, nor the ability to choose. It's not even free choice, as any choice except 1 will lead to 'eternal damnation'. So basically this 'god' character is playing cat and mouse with us, if it was true...

I am a bit disappointed thou, that a man with such eloquence denies the existence of a power beyond his own, and replaces with free will. In my own experience; we are all simultaneously controlled and evolve by a power beyond our own, not just our own free will. To deny that is pure arrogance. A tree can still be a tree; but it wouldn't be a tree, if it denies the existence of what made it into a tree in the first place! I am who I am not because of my own free will, but also the countless other influences that had shaped who I have become.

OK. I'll take a stab at this, since the guy in the video lacks imagination. What if God is like a librarian at a library? He knows and has read every book (future possibilities) in the library. God let's visitors (humans) choose whatever book we want to rent. That's "free will". God doesn't tell us which book to read. He let's us choose. Sometimes we can ask (through prayer) for book recommendations, but it's up to us to choose the book we want. Since God has read every book inside the library, then he knows what's going to happen no matter what book we choose. That's how God knows the future. There. Problem solved. I fixed this man's mental dilemma. . . . . It sounds like this man in the video just lacks imagination! 😂

There is no reason to believe that God is omnipotent because he can't create a square circle and therefore can't "do anything". There is no reason to believe God is omniscient because then we live in a universe that's like a closed book with infinite pages that are already written and there would be no change, yet we see evidence of change. I believe in an evolving and omnibenevolent God whose mind is like that of a Buddha, but cannot simply snap his fingers and save everyone from suffering. I believe in God because Robert Monroe who had countless out of body experiences (coined the term in fact) and invented the Gateway Process which the CIA uses to train psychic spies to this day said during his OBEs he came into contact with Source. He said everyone "breaks off" from it (or experiences separation from it) and eventually returns to it. Advaita Vedanta would say this separation is an illusion (Atman (small self) is Brahman (God)), though.

GOD or the Source is deeply engrained within us all for sure. We all create our reality through our collective consciousness and since we're all deeply connected to the source, well you get the idea. What's neat is how unfathomably complex it really is. There are multiple you's and they're all connected to the Source as well not to mention every conscious being around you. The amount of possibilities is staggering really. Then you get into the really fun Parapsychology possibilities. Since we're all connected, can we communicate through this connection? Seeing as how our alternate selves apparently all at one point were one single mind and branched off from there, is it reasonable to assume we are still connected with an unfathomably large number of our alternate selves? Could we perhaps pull from their intellect if we have something to offer the multi-universal hive mind that is YOU? All very fascinating stuff. And the answer is yes.

Jason Jorjani's argument is coherent within the framework of Aristotelian logic, which governs our human thinking and all of science. But there may be multiple "logics" outside of our human minds. Entanglement in quantum physics, for example, contradicts prevailing Aristotelian logic. Quantum logic contradicts Aristotelian logic. In dreams, while we sleep, sometimes things appear that make perfect sense within the "framework of dream logic", but that make no sense at all after waking up. Is God all-powerful? Can he create such a heavy stone that he himself cannot lift? According to Aristotelian logic, God's omnipotence leads to contradictions, but this does not have to be the case in quantum logic or in "dream logic" or in any other logic.

God's omniscience encompasses all dimensions of time-past, present, and future-and extends to the choices we would freely make under any circumstances. This absolute knowledge is an essential attribute of the Divine, without which God would not fulfill the definition of divinity. A critical misunderstanding, particularly highlighted by Jason Reza, lies in conflating God's foreknowledge with determinism. He fails to distinguish between God's perfect awareness of our actions and the responsibility for those actions. The autonomy granted to humanity through free will is a fundamental tenet of divine justice, allowing us to choose our paths independently. The fact that God foresees our choices does not imply that He chooses them; rather, it underscores His transcendence and the integrity of our moral agency. The Quran unequivocally affirms that God has endowed us with free will, and it is through the exercise of this free will that we will ultimately determine our own eternal destinies.

There’s lots of ways to think of what God is. You can think it’s the universe itself and we are all apart of it. Or that it is the truth and all that is good. Or creator that is also outside of it but also apart of it. It’s beyond human comprehension, many dimensions who knows, who feels it knows it. They are figures of speech. God and Devil and how they work are very real no matter what. You can base it off just reality of how the universe and our minds and spirits work or you can believe beyond it. Either way it’s very real. Don’t gain the world and lose your soul, Wisdom is better than silver and gold. When you do evil it will eat you from the core out and you won’t even realize what you are missing. It’s very real. Our core being could already be in different dimensions but we only see visible light and the material world. But are surrounded by hell or heaven with free will, without realizing it, then when die you fade into where you already are but realize it’s where you’ve been and you made it yourself

Faulty frail flimsy failing and funny “logic” here. All this clip did was solidify my belief and gratitude towards God. 😂🙏 What’s the one verse?: “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.” ‭‭- Psalms‬ ‭14‬:‭1‬

Such a lame argument that high school students wouldn't use it after 3 beers. God has mind? So many wanted to destroy god on free will argument but can't mix berries and flower. Different disciplines...

This is where logical thinkers go wrong but the same people say there is no time or space so there for there's no one before god and god don't deal in future and past it's all now the only time that exists.

O.k. JJ if a belief in "God" is counter to notion of free will, so forget "God" and now free will is ours, who or what gives us free will?

Well obviously if you choose the stupidest mainstream definition it's wrong. A more Indo-European pluralist view, I think allows for a more distributed agency both within as without.

Just what I thought it would be - an attempt to explain god's consciousness with logic. Impossible. Get your personal spiritual experiences first and THEN I wanna hear how you feel about god. From where you are right now it can't be done. Which is OK. We all are where we are, it's ok and that's how it should be. All good.

Did Jorjani just contradict himself, isn´t his whole Prometheus project speaks of transgressing God / gods? Now he says he doesn´t believe in God at all? Of course there is God (law) in order to transgress it/ Him? What is point of rebellion (which prometheus is) if there is now God?

Not knowing the existance of God is the stupidest thing ever. We aren't alone we cant create our own sand or mud or planets. Demons entities are real most accounts of strange phenomena happens. Agencies knows of it and with experiments as well. I know theres a God the most high we cant simply come from nowhere. I high being has to be really smart to come up with such.

The most High is real and i got humbled by him. There is a Hierarchy and Order and no one can challenge him. He cares and designs every Particle. Master of time and space. Appreciate wandering on Earth instead of holding the fabric together and doing all the hard work. He really cares about everything and he is everything. No Alien bullshit, that's what he told me. Just enjoy life and dont care about the past. Live in the present and move on. He gives respect but also wants respect. This is nothing for the ego mind. Just travel, make pictures and experience love you know? Something like this.

I have a completely logical explanation for free. Will also free will and sovereignty can both exist at the same time.Hold out a piece of candy in front of a child.2 pieces of candy one and each hand you know, 1's favorite. You know one's not his favorite. Therefore you know which path is going to take it's not rocket science

This is one of the topics I disagree with Jason on Vehemently. Believing or not in God has nothing to do with A promethean ethos. You can be sure that ethics of Prometheus ism borrow heavily from Zoroastrianism and the Jude’s Christian God. Maybe not so much Allah since he hates Islam. And is basically annoyed Yahweh is so powerful. Ahura Mazda will become new God and Prometheus will become his first major
