I really do like how he is shown to be an actual good friend behind the annoying attitude in Chapter 2. Hell je actually even keeps offering Kris to join him repeatedly, like actually offering an olive beanch since he feels less need to keep up his smart kid position like in school. He even seems to seek Kris' approval after some tme spent with him and has genuine respect for him. Then of course how he drops all his snark to be serious when his friend is both hurt and manipulated in the Snowgrave Route.

The Deltarune monsters are different compared to Undertale ones. When Susie goes ko in a battle she doesn't die but she only falls down. Furthermore, monsters can't use magic in lightworld, only in the darkworlds. So Berdly can die without becoming dust

I need you to understand the mistake you've just made by making this video. Berdly was made to be hated. Made to be a punching bag. He was not designed for anyone to like him. He only has 2 useful moments in the entire game so far. In fact, the programmers knew that he was the worst, so they coded in two ways for you to screw him over; you can either cripple his arm by attacking during the Queen & Berdly fight, or kill him in the Snowgrave route.
