Hi, Great advice❤. I was never a fan of Don’t pass , neither I learned Don’t pass. BUT this makes sense, and after losing many hands on pass line and checking out this vlog, everything makes sense, I will definitely apply these next time when I am at the table. Best advice ever, looking forward to more craps videos in your channel , especially on Dice setting and Controlling

Quick question again on RCL I know you need points to get the free offers but let’s say you play an average roll bet of $100 (everything is rated in the play no odds) how many points should you get per hour if possible or not really a know factor ?
@holyrollr Жыл бұрын
@@exploringwitheric about 100 points per hour at $100 average bet.

Dam you worry me lol , I was gonna go play a strategy that requires laying the 4 or 10 for 200 as a one time hedge for the 100 don't pass and then I see all thoose 4s in the come out

Great video Brian, has helped a newbie to Craps understand a little more. As have a lot of your videos. So correct me if I am wrong, by hedging your bets with the DP and then betting same on the point, you stay longer and therefore gain more cruise points over time? Sorry, just trying to understand how this helps win a free cruise on a cruise playing craps. Cheers legend.
@holyrollr Жыл бұрын
Basically, yes. That’s the idea…but you don’t necessarily have to bet the same amount on the point…for example a $50 DP can be covered with a $25 buy bet if the point is 4 or 10. Thanks for watching 😁👍🏼🎲🎲

Hey Brian, good breakdown as always. The Allure looks like a great ship, hope y'all had fun on your cruise. On a my last casino visit, I returned to the Don't Pass (from the DC) because of all the P.S.O.'s. Playing at a x3x4x5 table I began Laying Odds behind the DP because no one was making a Pass. The Come-outs seemed a non-factor on the cold table, even the next session with more passes I recouped quickly. Started with $10 DP x $60, and followed a Pass with $15 x $90, then $20 x $120. Three sessions and never saw a 3 Pass Shooter, but I'm going limit DP odds losses to two per shoot. Some great hybrid play with this cover bet is $12/6&8, win #1 press to $18/$18, win #2 all down for the 7-out. My new favorite cold table combo is using a full Parlay on Come bet wins. Equal number of $10 Come bets to the number of red chips in the DP base bet. FYI: this is a GREAT read on a cold table, if the Come bets don't go up before a 7-out, Brrr! Still working out the Money Management, but this is right in my wheelhouse - great shot to win $150-200 on a $600 buy-in. Cheers, Robert H.

@@holyrollr Thanks, this one's got some teeth, calling it Bulldog. Needs some protection play rules on the DP x Odds, but it can pivot from Dark to Light & vice versa. Plus, if your table warms up, the DP odds can peel down with some Place bet wins. Lordy, I love this game!

@@holyrollr So many Cold Tables... so little time. Here's my 'Best So Far' play rules: Cruise Strategies - Hybrids (Robert H.) $$$$$ BULLDOG - (Moderate/Cold Table #4) DP/Odds Ladder + $10 Come bets ($10 Table) DP x Max Odds = Use $10 DP x $30 odds as tester bet, or protection to play out Pass streak + (1) Come, (4) Levels = $30 Lay Odds for each $5 in DP, $10 DP Base, DP Levels = $10-15-20-25, → ($10 DP x $60 odds) - ($15 DP x $90 odds) - ($20 DP x $120 odds) - ($25 DP x $150 odds - MAX bet), Start Laddering @ $10 DP Base, Flat bet the current DP ‘Line’ bet (Level) until the Point is set, → Rack DP Come-out winners & Same Bet losers, only DP Odds results change your Line Levels, → Ladder DP ‘Line’ bet UP (1) step after a DP Odds loss, MAX of (2) DP odds loses per Shooter, → Ladder DP ‘Line’ bet DOWN (1) step after a DP Odds win, → Same Bet after a DP Odds loss, when a Come bet ‘Add 2’ Parlay wins (preserve Ladder bets), Note: Come-out 7 after a Pass wipes all your bets, Same Bet the DP ‘Line’ bet & reload Odds & Come’s, $10 Come bets = number of Come bets equal to number of Reds in DP ‘Line’ bet (i.e. $15 DP = 3 Come’s), → (+$5) after a Come-out loss ONCE per bet, if ‘Odd Amount’ Come bet loses, don’t replace, Note: if the ‘Odd Amount’ Come bet wins, restart it $10, → ‘Add 2’ reds (+$10) if $10 Come bet wins, then if ‘Add 2’ bet wins → regress it to $10, rinse & repeat, → Restart the called for number of $10 Come bets on each new Shooter, NO Come bet Odds, Note: continue with Come bet play rules around any new DP bet that’s made mid-shoot, adjust count, $10 Table → Bankroll = $600 max, Win Goal = $200 ($300 max), end a shoot with 90%+, walk! Win Goal in Recovery = $0-100 → too many rolls per shoot, betting Levels 3&4 too often, recoup & get out, Additional Wins → go for $300, or continue play with only ONE Base DP/odds bet ($10 DP/$60 odds), Loss Limit → Do NOT start next shoot from last $200, Don’t Chase! Plus Points: → Reduces DP Come-out loss impact, Powers the 7-out, You are tracking bet wins on Passes & ‘Add 2’ bets, P.S.O.’s are now your best friend, allows for realistic $200 Win Goal from a $600 Bankroll, Note: the key to working a $600 Bankroll is to maintain Discipline, limiting Odds losses & adjusting DP bet size, → Regressing DP down a Level (or to Base) when in trouble preserves recovery opportunities, Limiting DP/odds losses to (2) per Shooter is a ‘Plus Play’, bet on other Shooters (even try one DP only), → Good sign if getting P.S.O.’s, Come bet Parlay wins & DP staying at Levels (1) & (2) → additional wins? Great ‘Cold Table’ read, if 7-out’s happen before Come bets go up you are at the right table! Warm Table Option: 6&8 Place bets, alone or with Come bets (going up), ‘OFF’ on DP Come-outs, Point on Outside 4 number: Place 6&8 for $12 each, after Win #1 → press to $18 each, Win #2 → all down, Point on 6 or 8: Place the other number for $24 (Win & Down), or work 2 numbers $12&10 as above, → working a Place bet spread where each is Win & Down, a ‘Plus Play’ for profiting, → leave Place bets up on a Warm Table? (or Shooter going long?) You’re call, work it!!

Have you ever encountered where you're betting the don't then the number place/buy, hedging, that you don't receive the points you expect? As I've seen where they only rate you on the risk not the amount.

Don't Pass is almost as bad as Pass Line. With DP there are 8 ways to get zapped on the Comeout roll (7's and 11's) which forces you to either hedge (which can lead to more problems) or just take a significant risk on the Comeout. Then if you make it past the Comeout roll, your point is usually going to be the 6 or 8, and there are nearly as many ways to roll these numbers (5 dice combos apiece) as there is the 7 (6 dice combos). It makes a lot more sense to just bypass the Line bets and make Place bets, which can be hedged through regression, Lays, Hops, limiting the number of rolls/hits and even Hardways.
@holyrollr3 ай бұрын
@@douglasscovil3447 either way the DP is the best mathematical bet on the table by 0.01% 😊 I just thought people should be introduced to the best bet that is usually frowned upon…for example: nobody really frowns upon the best mathematical move in blackjack or any other casino game…it seems to only be in craps where playing the best bet is sometimes viewed as a negative move 🤷♂️

Playing the don’t and hedging like Brian is saying, will keep you at the table much longer. And since I have never gone to a casino looking to make money, but have a good time, this keeps me there longer and get something for my time.

Generally speaking 25% of the game will be in the come out phase and 75% will be in the point cycle.
