If Big basket buys major stock directly from manufacturers and sell it at a price lower than the retailers. Not only can it cover transportation cost from the margin, but also it will attract more buyers. It should also promote use of fuel less bikes to maximise profits. Also, it can give incentives (max possible discounts) to people who choose regular deliveries.
