she wasn't ready for Leo because whether she knew it or not she was holding out for her best friend and true love Ryan Reynolds and we know that because Leo is not that much older than Ryan and she ended up marrying Ryan only a year later so that doesn't make her much older than she was when she was with Leo so her reason was just an excuse I think she had Ryan in the back of her mind all along
