To add to your point, Mase, the subtle in-game advantages Denver has this season are more noticeable since the Shannahan era; Timeouts at around the 4 minute mark of the 2nd and 4th quaters for ample clock preservation to give the offense opportunities for end-of-half drives. Draining the clock while mustering scoring drives like in KC to not give the other team the ball to close the game. Maximizing the talent on this roster in spite of salary cap hell. Instilling the discipline of mind in these players to not put the team in jeopardy. Sean's coaching job has made a crucial difference to this team's turnaround and thankfully he has a QB that's willing and able to process his vision.

This reminds me of the team that won the Super Bowl. That team had an inconsistent, not very good offense, and a generational defense that capitalized on mistakes and forced turnovers. This defense isn't quite as good, but it generates turnovers and capitalizes on mistakes, just like that team, and the offense is inconsistent, but makes just enough plays. Doesn't mean this team is making it to a super bowl, or winning one, but it does provide a comparison. We have to remember, Manning was BAD that super bowl year, we won in-spite of him, on the back of a sack generating, turnover generating defense.

I couldn't have said it better. I mean who else is going to throw 3 picks and only 130 yards and still win a football game? We don't make the schedule and we are beating who we should be beating, we absolutely belong in the playoffs!
