I'm surprised you didn't include Milani Romantic Rose or Too Faced Baby Love. Romantic Rose would be one of my favourites together with Max Factor Nude Mauve (dupe of Hourglass Mood Exposure), Nars Douceur, Essence Satin Love, H&M Cameo Pink, Bourjois Rose Éclat and Colourpop Between the Sheets (for a "cream" option that looks very natural on the cheeks).

That's awesome. I wouldn't have thought it would show up well on darker skin because it is such a lighter, neutral shade. It is definitely beautiful and one of my go-tos. :) I love when a blush will work for so many different skintones.

I wore tarte exposed with nars velvet matte lip pencil in cruella for a wedding. It was the first time I wore red lip with confidence as it was the first time I found the ideal blush to wear with red lipstick, because I rarely wear red lips, but when i do I always wear a deep cool toned red, and exposed turned out to be great for that type of red.

I've been loving Thebalm's Balm Beach! Also looks boring but it's so nice especially with fall colours and I love the cardboard packaging, with a mirror and doesn't break easily.

I am really into Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade "Paaarty", it's a "boring" sheer buildable shade and you really can't go wrong, especially on very fair skin. I also love Benefit's Dandelion Box o' Powder, it's a sheer glowly blush, again, perfect for extremely light skinned people who find the lightest shades of foundation are often still too dark.

I love these kinds of blushes too. I have rosacea and so my cheeks are already red and pink. I don't wear full coverage foundation, so it always peeks through a little and these more neutral " boring" and cool leaning blushes give me color without accentuating the redness.

Hi Emily! I love Neutral & warm peachy brown blushes, they are my favourites. I'm not much of a blush person, & more into peachy coral blushes than pink. I think if people have to pick just one blush then it should be the Essence Blush Up blush in "heat wave". That blush has ombre apricot to hot pink, & you effectively get 3 blush colours in 1. It's very long wearing, 8-10 hours easily. The quantity of 8 grams is also great.

Thank you so much for this video! I usually don't wear foundation, and as someone with naturally rosy cheeks only started getting into blushes recently because as I've hit my 30s my skin has become less naturally radiant. But I find myself struggling to figure out what blush goes with what other colours, just because I never had to think about it before. So finding some more neutral blushes that go with a variety of looks is a godsend!

I don't think I'm ever drawn to bright blushes so I loved this video! I think my absolute fave blush of all time is the H&M one in 'deep brown'. It's a PERFECT mix of browny pink and adds the most beautiful undertone of flush to my cheeks. Plus it's affordable!

This formula really melts into the skin and if you wear a cool-toned foundation I think that effects how it will pull on you. Definitely try it! Sephora has a very similar, more pinky version called Pink Honey Pop (Clinique, exclusive shade to Sephora) that's slightly cooler as well

Love blush. All shades all types. In the MelisaMichelle palette that blush is very neutral. I wear it all the time!! Plus in the ELF light blush palette there's a neutral blush shade as well. Now i will have to wear that more!!!

I love blush! It's my fave makeup step and I can't live without it. My fave is galifornia by benefit, it's very bright but I love it. Also love dandelion by benefit, way more toned down and subtle. Sweethearts blush by too faced in the shade candy glow is another fave. I really like the brighter, lighter and pinkie side of the color spectrum when it comes to blush. But mac's peachykeen is way darker and deep an my fair skin tone and I like it a lot too, especially during fall ♥️

Nars madly and MAC gingerly or blush baby I am very interested in! I own a mac blush called warm soul which is warm golden brown with sheen it sounds and looks like nothing but its so pretty so I recommend that one! Almost panned a blush and then plan on trying another brand for a new one!

I'm a blushaholic and lipstick addict. I am the polar opposite. I am cool toned and very pale so I love a pretty bright pinky blush! I will use my lipstick for blush sometimes to coordinate. I'm a fan of a old paintings of women wearing bright rosy cheeks and lips with not much else. I never ever use bronzer or wear nude lipstick. Most days, just mascara, blush and lips. Clinique has a browny red one that no joke looks exactly like a sunburn if you apply too much but if you apply just a little it gives a stunning natural flush. I also love the Maxfactor silk touch blushes, they dupe some high end ones.

Boring looking blushes may look boring in the pan but give the prettiest flush of colour on the cheeks whilst still being natural. I have medium/tan asian skin and bobbi brown's blush in shade tawny has been my holy grail for many years. It's a browny pink that is neither too warm nor too cool. Amazing pigmentation. Can't be without it.

Great video! I am NC 10-15 and I love „plum foolery“ from MAC. Used it since many years. It is my „put onwhen it is still dark outside“ blush. Essence Nr 20 is also great but it looks kinda warm on me so it is not so easy to wear like the mac one.

I love boring blushes, too! Benefit rockateur doesn't look too boring but it appears so natural on the skin and goes with any makeup look. ( I'm fair btw) It's my favorite. Surratt has a blush called la vie en rose which looks brighter in the pan but on the skin comes off very natural. Some other "boring" blushes that I love are physicians formula butter blush in plum rose, covergirl tru blend blush in 200, and I also have benefit Dallas which in winter time I love it as a blush bit in the summer it's a great bronzer for me. The reddish tone in it mimics what a tan for me would look like, due to me being so fair.

I have a medical condition that makes me look so pale and dead that my college roommate would even introduce me to her friends as being a vampire. Through trial and error I've discovered that the "boring" blushes are the ones that work best on me to make me look more naturally human and less like a vampire. I probably have about 30 blushes that are so similar to each other in my quest to find THE blush for me. I totally agree that the more buildable the blush the easier it is to work with. I used to think it's more cost effective to get a super pigmented blush, but then I realize that I end up using the sheer colors more often and the overly pigmented ones just sit in my makeup stash untouched.

BeautywithEmilyFox I usually skip bronzer...I'm one of the lucky few I guess with naturally high cheekbones so contouring and bronzer has 0 effect on me. The only bronzers I've really liked are the mac matte bronzer and the PF butter bronzer.

I agree with you! In my experience, when I purchase blush palettes, the one that looks "the ugliest" they have been my favorite. For example, when I purchased the ELF quad light blush palette, I thought that one of the colors looked like "diarreah" (yes, I disliked it that much when I first saw it) but that's the one that I use the most.

Mac Buff and Nars Douceur were discontinued :( I don't know why neutral blushes are always being discontinued.. kinda why I wanted to rave about them lol
