Agree. Worked for 15 years just immediately outside Brooksville, visited at lunch and after work in the City of Brooksville. Great, very historic small town with many stately older homes and building structures (built in the very early 1900s and earlier), rolling hills, majestic oaks. Great people, too. Its " Mayberry " Fla, it really is.

Whats the deal with that Cemex cement plant, it adds 100's of huge trucks all day long even through downtown, does the plant run 24/7 ?

Like every small town, it has a block or two. I was just here on Monday for a high-school baseball game and was impressed with the crowd. It was my 1st game here. I definitely felt the vibe where sports hold big weight in a small town. If you are looking for real estate in the area, I'm here to help. Also, the area has some awesome springs to paddle down.

I live here but have never had an issue it’s not ny or chicago by any means. there’s a lot of beautiful gated communities. it’s growing too. gonna hv an olive garden here

It is disgraceful the amount of crime there is here. I'm in Brooksville. Hard drugs, prostitution and homelessness with any place for homeless to go so they wander neighborhoods and knock on doors. It's sad and it's shameful.

no iguanas but the rattlesnakes are everywhere and most are 5 ft or more and they love to bite folks from New York especially if they are liberals.

Iguanas cant live in this climate. Its not exactly tropical here in Brooksville, more temperate. Iguanas isolated more exclusively to tropical SE Fla: Miami, Ft Lauderdale.
