That's true. I like his size and grit. A few of those passes were on the money. But I think he's somebody we can get 3rd round possibly. On another note I did like Skattebo as a RB. He runs with a purpose and ran against a solid defense.

Long term for how this defensive line could be built Mason Graham very well could make the most sense of this top group of players. McGuire is a starting caliaber player who if Carter is taken then gets completely blocked. Graham might be nearly as dominate while also giving the Browns the flexibility to move on from Dalvin Tomlinson next year if needed cap wise. While strengthening the interior and also helping Myles arguably just as much as Carter would. The EDGE class is also deep enough compared to the Interior line class where it’s arguable you’d get better value taking Graham and and then an EDGE in the 3rd compared to the opposite which might be Carter and a DT in the 3rd they go for trying to upgrade the defense to win that way.

Love your content, but think our needs scream offensive side of the ball (O line, RB and QB). Carter’s likely going to be good (albeit small for a top 3 pick), but you have Miles and Joel both questioning Browns on how they are going to fix this and adding another defensive piece to a bad offense IMO isn’t gonna satisfy them. Trade down if you can get a later 1st round pick plus 2 or 3 3rd round pick in 2025 and fix the offense first.

Having Carter would be great, the problem is offensive side of the ball. They need a qb. You could sell me Carter and Milroe (major project) but anything else is lackluster. And Cousins and Rodgers arent your answer. They might be cooked/retire. You're options are limited and you'll still be looking for qb the following year. Problem is you'll win enough games to keep you out of the #1 spot. So if you do like a qb, you'll have to trade your future all over again. All I'm saying is Washington had all them first rounders on the dline and it didnt win football games. Passing on qbs for vets and mid rounders is how this organization passed on Big Ben because they had Jeff Garcia, and then the following year got Trent Dilfer and passed on Aaron Rodgers. Point is, if you're picking high and you need a qb you take one or you'll be mediocre anyways. You cant "wait til next class" or you'll be waiting a long time. The top qbs in this league weren't even #1 picks.

We really need a top quality RB. If we can't run the ball effectively, no QB we bring in is going to have much success. FWIW, I like Abdul Carter. But I would much prefer to clean house, start over, and let a new regime take 2025 to start their program, and draft a QB in the future. However, the Browns are bringing back Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski. And Berry and Stefanski have had 5 seasons to build a program, and they have failed miserably at it. And they are blaming the QB position for it. Therefore, the Browns need to either draft Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders, so when the Browns suck again in 2025, everyone can finally be fired. Period.

Two stud ends firing off the edges create a “pincher” type of attack where the QB simply steps up in the pocket to avoid the rush…. How is this not registering with anyone? I expect it from this guy bc he needs clicks, but all the comments in here!? What we NEED is a pass rushing DT that can collapse the middle. This way we can control the QB - his only escape is to roll AWAY from Garrett… then all we need to do is have Myles rush from his strong side. The QB can’t climb the pocket bc our DT has collapsed it. He can’t stay where he is bc Myles will kill him. His only option is to throw off schedule or roll to his weak side and throw across his body… As far as DTs I like mason graham but at pick 3 that’s a little steep. My guy is TY Robinson.
