This was originally going to be the intro to a longer video but I cut it in half for the sake of my own attention span. Not sure if subservient is exactly the word I was looking for but it works. Stay within the expectations of our class ls more what I meant. Unhoused people are not expected to have phones & KZbin channels & do upper class things like review beer. Alcohol is considered a luxury, unhoused people are expected to be desperate for food & shelter and are judged for buying alcohol, despite the fact that housed people also indulge in substance abuse. Rather than being seen as an equal lifestyle , we are expected to struggle to become like the people who have money. To be honest no one ever really calls me a bum to my face, but the comments I see online not only on my own channel but reviews of public spaces complaining about the presence of homeless people reinforces what I already knew people thought of me and others.

Bro, I need to drink with you someday. If you're ever in Tallahassee, FL I'd love to drink some Malt Liquor with you. You're awesome, and I love what you have to say. I respect you and your lifestyle.

@@tonyjackson6429 Thanks man. I try to skip Florida usually, they really don't like homeless people down there.

@@Bumlife666 Shit, that sucks. I didn't know that, man. I just moved here from North Carolina and thought they were chill. I don't condone looking down on homeless people.

@@tonyjackson6429 There's nice people for sure but it's a cop state. Businesses don't wanna let you use the bathroom or sit there too long even if you bought something. It's maybe gotten a little better but they used to have a lot of anti homeless laws.

That's discrimination. I hate that shit. I would never treat homeless people like that.

Noah, love this one. It’s real and unafraid, it’s also a good glimpse into the character that is @bumlife666 because anyone who knows you irl, knows there’s a huge range of personality and character beyond this and ppl want to know some of the real. You do a good job of bringing in some of your real into a channel that is normally just malt liquor reviews for homeless people, by homeless people. Also, more shirtless belching please. ❤

I'm not homeless but I like to hop train and chug beer. If you ever come to Illinois or missouri I'll collab with you. I know the channel isn't about punk rock but at the end of the day it is a way of life you would go crazy in the current punk scene. Look into synthpunk music, its easy to make.

I walk my dog a lot on the train tracks where I live and a section of forest in the city. All the homeless I run into are different than you they are usually drug addicted and have tons of shit at their camp. You seem cooler in the sense that you drift around and probably aren’t a thief. 👍🏻
@Bumlife6663 ай бұрын
@@dustinvanravenswaay9960 True, people prefer homeless who don't stay in one place. The trash camps are generally do to hard drug addiction & mental illness. Don't judge them too harshly though, this world pushes everyone to end up where we do.

@@Bumlife666 yeah I get it. I don’t really look down on homeless people, I do sometimes wonder how they got to be in that situation. Definitely a cold world bro.

@@dustinvanravenswaay9960 you could try talking to them, although they may just want to be left alone. I think addiction whether it's alcohol, meth, fentanyl, or exercise, work, & video games, we're all just trying to escape pain, boredom, the meaninglessness of living in this modern world.

@Bumlife666 right on. I have been homeless (not by choice) before amd am walking the thin line once again. My main struggle was being properly rested/getting decent and and comfortable sleep. Do you usually find a spot in the woods?
@Bumlife6663 ай бұрын
@@jstanley4968 Yeah I find wooded areas where no one bothers me. When I was younger I'd sleep on sidewalks sometimes only cause I didn't really know how things work. You see some other people sleeping & think oh this must be okay. But once you learn to look for hidden woodsy areas it's so much better. No one ever fucks with me. & The paranoia of sleeping outside go's away pretty fast. No one's looking in the woods for random bums to murder, that's all shit we imagine based on movies . Think of yourself as an animal, like any other animal, a deer, a bear, they sleep on the ground. Humans are weird with all our beds and toilets and everything we expect for comfort. we've created a completely unnatural environment for ourselves.

I've been housed for a year now after being homeless for 3 years prior. I mentioned that already in a comment from a past video. I still have been sleeping on the floor during the past year. I just got used to it. I found a relatively nice Sealy mattress a few hours ago and hauled it indoors. Tonight's my first night of sleeping on a mattress in four years (exception: I was in a few cheap motels a handful of times).

@@MrNiceGuy.357 I sleep on beds whenever I'm at someones house or if I find one outside that's not too gross, ( good way to get scabies though). They are comfy in the moment but they make me more sore the next day. I use a foam camping pad.
