Why buying a Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition now is a good idea!

Picked up my Hyrule Edition Switch Lite from Best Buy on Thursday, almost want to pick up one more to keep in box, untouched as a collectors item. I see other special edition handhelds like the various 3DS and 2DS ones and wish I’d been able to pick one up when they were available, and had had the foresight to collect them. Can be easy to overlook and not decide to when it’s available. Glad I got this one.

Totally agree! I’ve been thinking about the same thing honestly. I have a couple of cons coming up so need so funds for that first! lol. Priorities!

I heard from another KZbinr that this is the last Switch Lite Nintendo made. I didn't even need this Switch Lite but still got it anyways, still have my gray Pokémon SL also have an OLED model.

I just picked one up. I also have the TotK OLED and the Majora's Mask New 3DS XL. The gold of the Lite pairs well with the other two consoles. After I test it on a spare Lite, I'm going to install an OLED display in my Hyrule Switch, and some hall effect joysticks.

One of the reasons I’m buying up Switch consoles is because once the Switch is discontinued from manufacturing which I think may be a lot sooner than we think with the Switch 2 on the way, having brand new boxed systems are gonna be hard to track down once the available stock sells out from retail. Plus so many used systems on eBay and such usually are in questionable condition, screens are usually hit or miss, or lots of body wear or cosmetic wear. Plus depending on how expensive the Switch 2 is, getting an older Switch system might be more ideal for people who want Switch games, but haven’t gotten Switch 2. Currently I’m sitting on several boxed systems and I plan on keeping them and we’ll see what the Switch prices are after its discontinued and then the after market takes over.

Cool stuff, other than my Halo Edition OG Xbox, I don't have any collector edtion consoles. I think a lot of them are cool, but just can't bring myself to double dip for consoles. The special edition Switch systems have all been really slick though.

i think that the switch lite is bad whatever the logo they put on it. you are much better buying the big switch with a bigger screen and removable joycons and you can play on your big tv too.
