Sure, but if it's something really special, there's still a lot of knowledge needed before paying a big sum of money on something and you don't exactly know what you're getting. Moral of the story: prepare well before you buy second hand, there's a lot to factor in.

Some designers are just in it to make money, not create 2nd hand experiences, thats the difference between old and new school designers/houses. Some refuse to allow trash to be recycled. Upcycling is old school classy manufacturing, and new designers want to facilitate a feeling in the first time purchase and thats the experience, they have not honored the art of the 2nd hand game, and that is the problem, I like Rick Owens and he wants the 1st time buyer to hold on to that piece and its lifetime or built in death date experience fully. You got to know what you're looking for you just can't bat an Eye blindly while looking to get second hand Rick Owens shoes you gotta dig deep into the details of course there's a lot of scammers out there but if you know what to watch out for and what to look for the chances will become Slim that you get scammed
