great video! it's awesome to see people making new content for MBAACC. There's a couple corrections I'd like to make though: 1:38 her 2a hits on frame 4. while what you said is technically true if you're going by true startup, you later mention that it's tied for the fastest move in the game, which is a move that actually hits on frame 3. 3:16 there is no restriction on how many times per cancel string reverse beat can happen other than that imposed by the number of moves themselves (i.e. 5c > 5b > 5a > 2c > 2b > 2a is a valid string with 4 rebeats) 3:35 the frame advantage on rebeat depends on what move she reverse beated into 5a with. 5b, 2b, and 5c into 5a will all leave her -1, 4b will leave her 0, whereas 2c and 5cc will leave her +2 (if 5cc is cancelled before the last hit, can also be -4) 4:31 battou cancel (236a/b~c) is only plus when done after 6c. after anything else at best it's neutral or minus 5:32 there's no e in oki :P 6:40 I wouldn't downplay c moon mechanics so much. She has plenty of defensive options to choose from in dodge, backdash, heat, bunker, shield, and as a c moon she has access to ex guard and some really great pokes to catch resets with.

Only tangentially related, but I remember seeing an old Scrawt video where he said that C Arcueid had the potential to be (one of?) the best character in the game, but she was so TAS-level hard that nobody could ever do it. Am I completely wrong in remembering that, or does that sentiment still exist?

TAS-Level hard is kind of an exaggeration, but that sentiment still exists. C-Arc is considered to be one of the best character in MBAACC, but only if you can get past her difficult execution barrier.

Nah, she is a top tier character, typically joke characters are super gimmicky and have glaring weaknesses. Kohaku is a very well rounded and complete character.
