Rome never conquer the Axum empire( present day Ethiopia); in Fact they had diplomatic trading with them, being they had trade route to India and the east but never conquered … plus how they going to do that if they never even conquer Meroe (which is the name of the kush kingdom that the Kandake Amanirenas came from) ? In order to conquer the Axum you have to conquer the Cushites…plus when the Romans destroyed Napata, it didn’t scare them away because they already moved to their new capital Meroe which was further south…. Meroe was eventually consolidated into the Axum after the kingdom, start declining after the war.
