Caitlin has caught the interest of people all over the world and brought their eyes to the WNBA. She didn’t need Angel Reese to do that. She did it herself through her own hard work. Lebron didn’t bring anyone that wasn’t an NBA fan to the NBA. And I used to be a Nets fan back in the day and always appreciated your style of play Kenyon!!!

Lets be honest here the wnba players should be thanking cc for what she is doing. Since the wnba became a league they have never made any money or a profit. These ladies are not just box office must watch people thats going to make people come to the games or watch on TV. Except cc. She is saving the failing wnba

Yao was more impactful as a rookie to the NBA than Bron when Gil mentions the NBA as an “ocean” Yao boosted the nba viewership by crazy numbers more than Bron

Nick is talking facts. look how many WNBA players being setting crazy record before Clark. Why just now it is making such splash. Its the black vs white.

CC impact on the league as a whole is equivalent to Lebron’s impact on Cleveland his first 7 years. When Lebron plays, they contend for a championship. When he leaves, bottom of the barrel for half a decade. When CC plays, the LEAGUE becomes popular. If she stopped playing, back to bottom of the barrel in viewership. If Lebron doesn’t play he destroys a team. If CC doesn’t play, she destroys a whole sport.

I have no idea what Gil was talking about. All his facts about Caitlin were wrong except the fact that she was great from her first year in college. Here popularity isn't because of any of these other girls and she hasn't changed how she acts at all.

The league was looking for a savior after Jordan. Kobe didn’t change the game, Vince Carter with his high flying dunks didn’t change the game, Bron brought viewership in that he was a pro playing in high school, yet he still didn’t change the game, but his impact is undeniable. Caitlyn’s impact is similar to Jordan and LeBron in her sport.

@Joegoog23213 ай бұрын
Without watching Gil’s lie’s, I’ll just say it’s because nobody has put up the numbers she has ever. Not saying she is MVP over A’ja, saying nobody that ever scored 19 ppg has ever had more than 4/5 assists. It’s unprecedented what she is doing (numbers wise). Lebron did nothing MJ or Kobe had already done stat wise. Peace!!!
@tammyboon62593 ай бұрын
In her rookie season, she has 1 stat, that ONLY MJ & Steph recorded in their rookie yrs!!! One game this season b4 the break, she did so much in 1 game, that NO player in either the WNBA or the NBA has done in 1 game!!!!

Caitlin jumped into a house pool, and everyone realized they needed a bigger pool. She forced the new pool. The NBA was more established. As a fan (which I was not a year ago), her impact is massive.
@nr149893 ай бұрын
Steph has a greater impact because many people can relate to him; you don’t need to be dunking to be a superstar, you just need to be a pure shooter. Similarly, with CC, every household, whether they have kids or not, can participate. Imagine the impact and the market that will have.

Caitlin Clark put Iowa on the map for four years before her nobody was f*cking with women’s basketball especially college. Caitlin gets drafted into the wnba and every single Fever game home or away gets sold out.
