Okay, I do use Devil Jin but what the hell was that. The Hitbox Hurtbox issue really needs to get a fix, because I had the same issue when I got to sidestep to an opponent's side and still got hit while the animation is still facing front there so both of us just got stunned from it and none of us press anything for a few seconds after

I think what happened was your characters left hand clipped through his head and got hit by the laser hitbox.

If that is what happened, they need to patch that..but based on some comments here, it seems the lasers have had a long history of weird hitboxes 😢

don't make sense since sometimes low attacks clip through characters legs like nothing happened mid hop attack animation even whey they visually hit.

It's well known in the Tekken community that Devil Jin players (not normal Jin players, those guys are cool and actually good at the game) only play him because they 1. Are edgy 2. Do not have a father figure 3. They have bad connection and lag the game so it slows down randomly or for the entire match nine times out of ten

Pretty sure I know why that hit you. You did the classic throw out a button which pushed your hurt box through your backward facing opponent to get hit by their move.
