I met Oscar de La Hoya on Olvera Street with my classmates years ago when he had become big time. We were on a school trip and we were eating in one of the little restaurants and he was walking out. I'm so happy when Canelo does English interviews. He does extremely well with it, and he has such a great sense of humor, even if he's being sarcastic. I have to say; I can't wait for Canelo to face Munguia. I love Munguia, but his defense is horrible and many of the guys he's faced were either much smaller or very much under-matched. I want Munguia to have a future; he's a nice guy, but beat Canelo?! No, not even on an off day for Canelo. I suspect Canelo may show mercy, however, because Jamie is so young and he's Mexican too.
