A tip is that u can flash while doing Vi's R do change the angle mid R. A lot of people dont know this and will catch them off guard.

yeah, not too useful in a 1v1 but if you absolutely have to knock them with q after in a seperate direction or flash onto a like 50 health enemy it can come in clutch in some rare cases.

back in season 3 to 4. I played around 100+games of mid Vi with the first item called "Spirit of the Elder Lizard" a jungle item that has a similar burn effect of red buff. E enables on hit of that item and it was for a cheap 2k gold, you can perma harass mid lane with slower item build than you and wave clear was so fast you can steal . had like 80% wr on mid vi back then.

Lethality Vi is fun way to delete squishy champs. I started playing lethality Vi jungler as an experiment when duskblade was introduced. as soon as you finished the duskblade, you can almost always 1 shot squishy champs with just Q+AA+E or at least remove 80% of their health bar (that was back when duskblade is kinda OP) along with lethality is having 40% CD reduction, at level 16, your ult is like sub-30 seconds I remember killing lethality Rengar level 18 with lethality Vi level 18 even though he got the first hit via jumping from bush, I killed him because of stun-lock + low CD of Q. the sequence is something like non-charged Q + aa + E + R + aa + non-charged Q + E

Never because bot lane is ALWAYS the carry role because bot lane ad marksmen are insanely broken. GL winning a game without them. On the rare occurance you get something like seraphine bot lane you at lest usually have something like tristana mid or another hard carry. Your primary carry is never top. And gnar doesnt play like an adc hes a splitter, lane bully and initiator. 99 times out of 100 he isn't your primary dps and teamfight.

vi in lane uses a lot of mana and if you take HoB + resolve tree then you dont get any from runes, so either you take tear, build essence reaver, or you're just permanently OOM bc vi is an ability spamming character

Full ad Vi main for over 3 years. Im glad it surfaced but this build is terrible, especially in high elo. If you want more consistency go crit. Core is Essence Reaver into Collector and at some point you will buy Lord Dominiks, so picking up IE and BT are better as 4th and 5th instead of 2 more lethaility items, that gives you the 100% crit. If you are fed you can also skip Doms and go IE 3rd. Picking up Ms lethality first is a bit troll unless game ends in 15 mins, but Eclipse is better for that and snowball. Getting to essence faster fixes mana faster and gives you more burst, and crit is far better lategame than lethality, even into squishes. But crit shreds tanks way better and oneshots squishies with one e. Also does not rely on hitting q since most of the dmg comes from aa e. Makes clear speed in jg, waves or objectives much faster too. The only upside of lethality build is access to edge but you can still do that as 5th option with the crit build instead of BT. Hope this helps when you try it, but its still a really high skill ceiling pick and you need to be 15 steps before enemy in macro to make it useful.

HOB is better in the early game trades, and these are VERY IMPORTANT because this playstyle NEEDS to snowball, so being able to deal 50% of the enemy laner's hp level 1 with q + aa + aa + aa is essential... You need to perma fight in most matchups during laning phase in order to get ahead. Notice how cs'ing isn't too important. Lethality vi is a bit like Katarina who also "just" needs a couple of kills to take over the game ; )
