This game is lovely and I'm not joking, it has so many great champions with great voicelines. It has a great environment (for real, if you would go to the corners of the map you'd be surprised how many details it has). Gorgeous skins that you do not have to buy if you don't want to. Breathtaking music. Yet, the community is garbage and I don't think that it can be fixed. League is a free game, if you'd ban every single piece of filth on the server they will only be making another account and continue with the bs.

@@Dan-ks9ur if you ask me, the games system. Is what makes the community toxic. Dying doesn't feel great, ans when you do, it severely impacts your lane and the others. So when someone on your team DOES die, and the enemy laner uses their lead to screw your lane up, it doesn't feel good as you know you weren't the one fucking up hard. Secondly, youre punished when there's a troll or dc/ the enemy team has a hacker Other games have forgiveness programmes etc that restores/ remove your points based on the inappropriate actions you/ your team-mates did. However, league doesn't, which makes it very frustrating when you lose a match that was winnable, but due to unfavourable and unfair circumstances,u lose. Its not fun to see yourself get punished due to an unfair advantage the enemy has over you. Lastly, toxicity perpetuates toxicity It's because league encourages toxicity through it's basic system that league has grown to be this toxic. As a season 3 Player, I can tell you from experience that I've been getting more and more toxic over the years due to the amount of stress I've been getting just trying to be competitive. Said stress came not only from the things I said above, it also comes from the feeling of not being able to improve/ climb(the promo system is really annoying, I've failed dia promos 5 times this season). I used to be very casual and positive in season 3,now I'm just an emo ranked Player.

His kit is extremely simple and frankly it all about macro. The reason why he was never saw in pro play is because he lacks ultilities. He can only AA. Pros can simply kite him, abuse him during the early phase to mid phase to make sure he's unable to scale.

Solo Queue just has a problem dealing with a properly played Tryndamere. He is the best example of a splitpusher I can think of. Good escape, a no die button and dueling potential in a stat-stick. Playing as Tryn: Team always wants him to group an when he does, even when fed, the team can't win teamfights. So he splits again. Team rages, mental goes boom, 4/1 surrender when Tryn is destroying the base singlehandedly and flame + 9x Tryn is soon to follow. Playing vs Tryn: Tryn gets an early lead from crit cheese and top laner cannot handle him anymore. You need to send 2-3 people to stop him and people don't have the macro to understand when you should just body his team 4v5 and when you should retreat and defend base as a group. In a coordinated Pro Play setting, almost NONE of this is applicable and all of his strengths are countered VERY well by the top players.

As a over 1 million talon one trick I can confirm that new talon is healthier for the game and has more utilities than old talon. Old talon was a suicidal machine that relies on his ridiculous high ad scalings and basically a stat stick, the champ was boring and cancer. New talon, though having one of the shortest reaches out of all assassins and lacks dashes in combat, has the strongest mobility ability out of the game next to Kayn. And this alone makes him EXTREMELY good at at least something besides his burst. Which is why reworked talon is much much better and reasonable than old stat stick talon.

Also, talon is actually in pro play a good amount for a champ with extremely obvious counterplay. He was picked by Chovy this year right before DRX, and he made some fire plays with our hooded boi. Also in LPL, a much more aggressive region that heavily focuses on early game, talon is picked a few more times due to his mobility. Angel from Suning picked him against IG but sadly lost due to a few fights. Talon is not nearly the best option in pro play as he lack utility, but he is picked a good amount of times after SSW (old brain dead talon), and is always a exciting pick that casters love to see. (Also G2 Caps played talon and won last year before worlds too)

Yes - but that's not the sole reason. Zyra occasionally shows up in pro play. Similar damage to Brand and much more utility. So why pick Brand when you could pick Zyra (or Lux / Morgana). But the real reason is that tanks dominate support in pro-play simply because they are less vulnerable to being picked whilst warding and roaming. Camille will 100-0 a Brand or a Zyra in second. He won't do that to a Braum or Tahm Kench.

Warwick players are those who are smart enough to recognise their own limitations.and focus instead on learning fundamentals of the game, like map awareness and objective control.

She is a bit stronger earlygame than most people expect her to be, and she has a trading pattern that, if she lands her Q, leaves no opportunity for the enemy to respond. Her passive also guarantees that she will make it to level 6 without dying if you only slightly misplay. However, a significant drawback would be her low movement speed, and the high mobility most team compositions have nowadays. She also gets easily disrupted by Crowd Control. In a coordinated environment, Anivia simply does not have that much to offer lategame, in contrast to e.g. Kassadin, because her DPS is so easily stopped by just dodging or interrupting her ult / wall.

Kayn is a monster in solo Q tho, impossible to really counter unless its team effort. If he is against a strong jungler, his E makes it easy to play around them, and against a weak jungler, he can be so dominant, again, due to E. Also dont know how anyone would ever say that Blue Kayn is trash, it's one of the best scaling assassins in the game. No matter how fed the enemy ADC or Mage is, if they are just left alone for 2 seconds Kayn comes from a wall, 1 shots them, then dips into the wall again.

*Pro is all about map control, while solo KILL is all about snowballing the game, specially if u have any hyper carry or a new balanced champ to abuse, ofc in high elo map control is important as well, but in the core the snowball potential is what really matters for ranked, get snowball with hyper carries and win the game solo, simple as that if u r in low elo, high elo needs wave management and map control to snowball, in low elo u just press the bottoms with ur super op carry and get the kills and towers ASAP*

Kat is an ap lucian version as he describes it in the video but is also dependent on early kills and at the same time has a bad early. So usually the only ones who manage to win with her are the hardcore mains, who know her so well that they can snowball off of the single misstep you do in the lane. Thing is if you manage to reach the mid-game without donating her a single kill, she's irrelevant cause at the same time she will also be behind in cs as a melee.

QotD: Even though Brand support output the most damage, poke, wave-clear and pushing-power, it is also a double-edge sword. Because if he pushes to far up it may leave both him and his bot-partner in a vulnerable position of getting ganked and possibly camped by the enemy jungler, especially when paired up with an engage support who stomps on Brand in pro-play. And wave-management is also something pros have to be aware of.

QOTD: Warwick. Simply put, he thrives the most when people marked around the map so can sprint into lanes. In proplay, that doesn’t happen as much, or, if it does, they don’t over extend. Furthermore, Warwick isn’t the best in team fights, especially in the late game. He isn’t as tanks as tank junglers nor can he one shot someone like kha’zix (and even if he does he doesn’t have escaped in his kit). He is great for punishing over extensions and picks but again in proplay those things don’t exist. If he ults someone in a team fight, WW is also suppressed meaning he can just be picked off.

QOTD: Twisted Fate ADC, I abused him to climb from Bronze to high silver (and then to Gold in mid lane). He has low range and needs an engage support to work, which pros can abuse very easily.

Haha, That's kinda fun, I'm a huge fan of TK and GP and yes it's quite hard to do soloQ with them now ! I was playing them before, during, and after they were buffed. TK is benched for soloQ, Rito completely gutted his mechanics but I still play him in urf with good success. GP well, he don't shine but with good mechanics he is always fun to play. I think the biggest issue for GP in soloQ (additionally from the things in the video) is that you really need to know your matchups in order to come out with the upper hand on top. In most case, the best option is to farm safe and wait for your jungler. Fine the wave and freeze close to your turret, poke your opponent if they get close and that should do it. QOTD : I think Katarina, Yorick, Trynd and Singed are probably never gonna make it in pro (at least I have not seen them). But due to the hell mess that soloQ is they can thrive and have success. @@Uhdksurvhunter Well, if kiting is an option, get that ult off of him and back the hell off, but laning against him, you want to like a lot of champs, get his engage/escape tools out of the way, so go in with a strong minion wave to bait, but back out the moment he makes any move and trade, if he is burning fury on healing he isn't trading. Once he has burned his ult, if you struggle to close it out(normally due to being unable to catch him) ask a jungler for help(in the case of playing sylas the enemy jungle can do just fine haha). Now, once he realizes that he cannot kill you or is straight up losing lane, he'll likely want to bully someone else, vision and missing pings are key here, assume your team are goldfish(plural?), grab a control ward and pop it in river, ping missing every 15-30 seconds, and ward over the wall to the blastcone near top tribrush if you are red, just the brush pixel if you are blue and push hard af. And lastly, if you are still struggling, bad vision control etc(I'm bad for this too sometimes), then frozen heart is your friend, and if you can find an excuse, thornmail, he'll be indestructible but so will you :) Hope this helps

Its actually the opposite. The pros have the mechanical skill to not int like main Yasuos in solo queue, and there are some nasty combos in pro play that work very well on a coordinated environment, like Rek'sai Yasuo and Gragas Yasuo. Its like the Camile Galio combo, its basically an uncouterable engade that can get free picks or force a fight wherever they want.

He also has a lot of counters such as Garen, GP, or Renekton who has the ability to delete all your ghouls in a second. And because there are a lot of metas in top lane such as using adc or ap that can poke him out, I don’t think he’s gonna be used in today’s meta/pro play.

As i kayn main i love to play him and carry games with blue or have amazing teamfight presence with red but it just doesnt work well with proplay

QotD: Garen. Nuff Said. And now i'll talk about GP for a bit, since he's almost my Onetrick and i have played him thru his high and lows, and boy this is a low low. Clean mechanics, wave management, proper crossmap ults, spacing and passive usage, good macro, these are all requirements for a GP player (even a Plat Scrub like me has to have every one of those pretty high to be decent, even tho my mechanics are definitely on the weaker side)but the issue is the slow but steady rework that Riot has given him from season 7 all the way to season 10. The first Mastery rework removed a lot of flat damage to give us Keystone Masteries that dont really boost damage, the rune rework removed the option of TLD ults for big cross map impact, Klepto being gone left only a Keystone meant for lane bulying and no scaling options. Crit item apocalypse of 8.11 and all the following "adjustments" left GP with a lot less damage in his kit, Sterakks Triforce interaction being gone removed more damage (even Triforce losing crit was a big deal) and Lethality aint even that good. Q and E nerfs and Passive buffs made him very strong in lane at the cost of bug power in the lategame, with armor pen on Barrens being reduced and gold from Q being reduced to buff passive (wich is mostly used in lane and to burn down tanks and towers later on). The meta right now is not terrible for GP but it's not good either; you should be able to beat Shen and Jax but both are pretty OP right now and the matchup gets quite a bit harder cause Balance is a bitch, Fiora is a rough one but possible and Kayle and Urgot are straight up nightmares. Overall a LOT of indirect nerfs and a shift from his lategame into his early game changed him from a weak laner with hyperscaling teamfights and versatility to a lane bully that can win most lane matchups with decent mechanics and gets outscaled by most toplaners. You dont actually lose the 1v1 against Kayle, Urgot or Fiora, you just get outscaled into oblivion. From season 7 to season 10 he got from AD Viktor with a global ult and decent melee damage to a Jayce with slows and a global ult but less burst. Crit scales super bad, Lethality is awful when every champion can buy a bit of armor and take like 30% from your full build barrel, right now GP's scaling is so GARBAGE that most players build Liandrys and go for ult damage, since it's not really worth investing in Q/E damage anymore. For a comparison imgine they nerf hecarim's damage so incredibly bad that he has to build full tank with Liandrys so he does SOME damage with W and R. That's mega sad, and im really looking for season 11 new items, since there seem to be some hope. Also dont forget that the pros are also much more risk adverse than even the most tryhard SoloQ player; when there's that much on the line in a pro game it takes some big balls to play stuff like Zed, Talon or Katarina in pro matches, champion that Can pop off but that require you to take risk and your opponent to take risk to work. This is why you see almost no assassins in Pro (and the more the game gets refined, the less you see of them; around season 2-3 you'd see assassins often, but as teams became better, cleaner and more organized they faded out) and the ones you see are very safe ones like Akali pre-R-rework and Leblanc.

QOTD: Katarina You cannot see that crazy, redhead Beyblade in pro play, but she is constantly being picked in soloq. When people have no coordination, she can easily roam, pick kills and get resets... In low elo, she doesn't even need to catch-up farm, her roams aren't punished anyway. Wouldn't call her OP, but she is definetely oppresive at times. And she has a decent 1v1/2v2 potential early

So regarding Azir I don't believe Assassins are hard counters to him. Once you actually understand those matchups you dumpster them or go even which is winning due to your high scaling. The counter is your teammates that don't listen to those danger pings so that Katarina gets a random double kill even though she went 0/1 with a 30 CS deficit

Illaoi can be easily countered in teamfights. People's mistake is they try fighting her when there are a lot of tentacles around her and she ults. Of course she dominates the teamfights that way. The strategy is to try to shut her down with CC and then wear her down. Even she can be punished after she uses her E in earlygame because it has high cooldown + missing it means a free gank.

Most people fought Illaoi very few times, they don't known when to break the circle or accept the damage and many other things that make or break it. So I get what you're saying is "Oooh you just need to do X", but you could say that about ANY champion. Tryndamere: just kite his ult; Kayle: just camp her and end before 30 mins; Zoe: Just dodge her bubble; I could go on, but I made my point. Saying that a counter is obvious doesn't mean it's commonplace in solo q, and that's why I say Illaoi is a champion that won't ever see pro play, but it is secretly OP in Solo Q.

They're just different metas, pro picks are usually utility based and its all in the drafting. There are strategies planned before a game starts in pro and that's not the case in solo queue.

This is def one of the most underrated ones. So many people don’t understand that her kit is all in her E, if she misses it, you have a massive window to kill her. She’s so reliant on a skill shot and in pro play you need more than that. In soloQ for the most part though not many people realise this making her nasty.
