The judiciary is supposed to be nonpartisan. There’s a reason for that!

I actually struggle to find information on the judges on the ballot every yr. Why would I do this? It it a major pain! It would seem as if they purposefully make it difficult to find any party or past decisions about/from these judges. That's because it's intentionally difficult!! That is exactly why I do it! I want more information NOT LESS! Prop 137 is bad for AZ citizens!

I would like to know if these judges are soft or hard on crime. also feel like we should know their records. We should also hear from them like we do other canidents

No to prop 137. We need to keep our right to vote on these judges
@hollow_1115Ай бұрын
So, prop 137 is basically saying, since people are not exercising their right to vote for judges (given how complicated it is to research them) therefore we should take away the right and hand it off to some legislative bureaucratic oversight nonsense. Yeah, this ain't it chief.

Another "solution" for a pretextual problem. I want to see a COMPLETE political/judicial background on judges b4 they are elected. Who does the judicial reviews? Cronies? judges should have a maximum term, then they are out & not able to run again. The incentives would be less skewed politically. Our biggest issue is judges that give WAY TOO MUCH deference to suspects & too little to victims. How do you fix that. These are not "right wing" judges.

Go online it look up the judge's record, as directed. Judicial retention shouldn't be tainted by partisan legislatures. If only six judges have been removed, good judges have nothing to fear. We know what's wrong with involving the legislature in the judicial process; look @ the extremely politicized SCOTUS. No rational voter would voluntarily relinquish any of their rights, especially their right to vote on salient issues.

I would like to see how the judges treat the people in the courtroom, are they professional in their conduct, or do they have a god complex. videos of them performing their jobs would be helpful in determining who to vote to retain or not to retain rather than surrendering my right to vote as a citizen.

Time to get rid of political judges!! Its suppose to be fair an unpartial
@DesertStackerАй бұрын
Why are we electing them in the first place?We just end up with lawyers of one party or the other who are more worried about the party line than the people

Arizona Voters❗Remember in November ❗to vote NO❗ on retaining Associate Justice Clint Bolick and Associate Justice Kathryn H. King. Both AZ Supreme Court Justices voted to enforce the 1864 abortion ban. They will both be on the ballot
