The most valuable component in leadership is philosophy, philosophy is your belief system, your belief system is a result of the things you value, whatever you value, you believe in. Your belief system produces your values & your values produce your morals, morality is a product of your values, morals inform ethics. Your morals dictate that you cannot violate your values, so you protect your character. If your ethics are in place, your ethics produce your character and your character becomes your lifestyle. You don’t lead out of your position, you lead out of your life. There is no private life. Live loudly! A person of character doesn’t care if you discover their private life, if you are afraid that someone may find out about your private life you have no character, you are a character. Vision without values is destiny without discipline. No matter how great your vision is it can be destroyed if you don’t have values. Your destiny depends on your personal discipline. Character will always protect your vision. Whenever you decide to do something & hope no one finds out, you are in danger. what a beautiful sermons. I wish I had learned this things when I was a child.
