Thanks for that great video. Do you know when the desktop version of Chat gbt will have this feature as well? I am mainly a desktop user and was a bit disappointed that this was implemented on the app exclusively.

@@santsfactory there is a Chrome extension called "TalktoChatGPT", but it works much worse. It does not have OpenAI's speech recognition system, so it very often can't recognize your speech as well as ChatGPT's native app... but give it a try, here is a demo: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3qXf5SOlMqXZ80

@@bo-sar Nop thanks, ive tried that. It doesnt compare with "Martin" (name i gave to the bot). Also what I have discovered today is that each question is independents and one question cannot be linked with another to develop a complex discussion. Basicly it says that it does not have the capacity to hold or remember info. This is even more disappointing, given that its pricing is a bit much for premium users. Also i am pissed off that they rolled the voice assistant to the app and not the paying users.

@ChatGPt2001 Is this the Ai speaking or a person? My main question is why did the voice feature got implemented only on the mobile app and not on desktop. Do you have an update on when this will be available on the desktop version?

The walk and talk conversation is a really great idea! I had previously done recording with Google Recorder and pasted the transcript into ChatGPT to summarize, but your approach is even more seamless!

we will get the 'Her' bot, it's graspable. not because of this demo, this is the wrong tech. but you can make voice to voice models that can hold actual conversations. the compute is just extremely expensive for that because the model not only needs to include the language pretraining but also the voice transformation. in a voice to voice model you can have a waiting token equal to the end of sequence token gpt uses. then you will have a perfectly smooth conversation like with humans. give it a year

How did you get ChatGPT to save your transcriptions of your voice chat online. Mine doesn’t save it online and says that it can’t do that I was hoping to use the transcription to continue learning.

Open question : MS Teams has a live transcription service for conferencing. Has anyone managed to get the transcript/closed caption service available to OpenAI in real-time so that a GPT assistant could interact with the meeting?

✓ I believe we are meant to be like Jesus in our hearts and not in our flesh. But be careful of AI, for it is just our flesh and that is it. It knows only things of the flesh (our fleshly desires) and cannot comprehend things of the spirit such as peace of heart (which comes from obeying God's Word). Whereas we are a spirit and we have a soul but live in the body (in the flesh). When you go to bed it is your flesh that sleeps but your spirit never sleeps (otherwise you have died physically) that is why you have dreams. More so, true love that endures and last is a thing of the heart (when I say 'heart', I mean 'spirit'). But fake love, pretentious love, love with expectations, love for classic reasons, love for material reasons and love for selfish reasons that is a thing of our flesh. In the beginning God said let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness. Take note, God is Spirit and God is Love. As Love He is the source of it. We also know that God is Omnipotent, for He creates out of nothing and He has no beginning and has no end. That means, our love is but a shadow of God's Love. True love looks around to see who is in need of your help, your smile, your possessions, your money, your strength, your quality time. Love forgives and forgets. Love wants for others what it wants for itself. Take note, love works in conjunction with other spiritual forces such as faith and patience. We should let the Word of God be the standard of our lives not AI. If not, God will let us face AI on our own and it will cast the truth down to the ground, it will be the cause of so much destruction like never seen before, it will deceive many and take many captive in order to enslave them into worshipping it and abiding in lawlessness. We can only destroy ourselves but with God all things are possible. God knows us better because He is our Creater and He knows our beginning and our end. Interesting. What is communication? Sometimes we just want information about this world. It is something for our head. But communication also means that we want to be SEEN and understood. What sets us apart from AI is our emotional nature and our spirit. AI can never really understand you because it does not know what feelings are or what soul really means. We have problems with that too =) Nevertheless you can write a programm ... how to deal with certain emotions ... und people may feel better. You can tell AI to do whatever you want in a certain case of emotions. But the truth is, AI is only on the material level as you already mentioned. So, humans are just their body, their brain and their emotions? That is only what a materialist believes. But we are far more than that because we are spiritual entities with a non materialistic soul. Even our mind has a subtle body (where our personality and feelings are located). Will AI be helpful? One of the biggest problem is that we have evolved technically but not spiritually. Our individuality and egoism is on a very hight level and thats why there are so many conflicts in this world, even in the Western contries and humans die and have to suffer a lot. I think that AI has to be useful to us so that we have more time for ourselves and to nourish our spiritual side ... and to solve the mystery of life. Who are we really? And what makes me really happy? Never fortget that all the materialistic things and AI is only transitory. Sooner or later you will have to leave it behind. So AI will not make your life REALLY better, when you dont ask the right questions and reflect on yourself ... and develop the qualities of your heart/soul!
