The challenge was worded so badly. It could be something like. "Chess, but you can only make up-to three times as many non-pawn moves as the number of checks you have received up-to that point".
@witchluisamultifandom121210 күн бұрын
YOUR wording doesn't make any sense. The submitter's wording was fine. Except for the part where they said "at the begin" instead of "at the start" for some reason.

@@witchluisamultifandom1212 Why doesn't mine make sense? "but you begin cannot" doesn't make grammatical sense. I figured out what they meant by "stackable" at the end but it isn't very clear.

@witchluisamultifandom12129 күн бұрын
@@mattlm64 "you begin cannot" makes no sense, that I agree with. "Stackable" is needed for clarifying the move amount doesn't reset to 3 with every check(though it could be read as "double check gives you 6 piece moves) RPG buffs are often phrased this way. It's that your proposed wording is unnecessarily complicated. Had to read it thrice before I understood it fully. The "up to that point" at the end is redundant, same with the other "up to". I personally would phrase the challenge "Chess, but at the start of the game you can only move pawns. For every check on your king, you gain three piece moves" Also I have never seen anyone spell up to with a hyphen.

"Very challenging" was to read the statement of the challenge. It would be better worded as "Chess, but if you move your pieces (not pawns) more than 3 times more than your opponent has checked you, the video ends."
