It used to hurt when I literally never got any credit for things. But now I just feel comfort in knowing that God knows, and he will provide me what I truly need. When we humble ourselves to his divine plan for our lives the need for credit from the world almost fades away. I went to my grandma's house one day after work and saw my uncle there chatting with her. I heard him whisper to her, "Hey how's he (myself) doing? Is he well?" I think he wanted me to hear him though. I was doing really well at that time. I had lost a lot of body fat and gained muscle from my warehouse job where I do a lot of heavy lifting. The thing is that I had around 6 months of sobriety under my belt that day; I'm an alcoholic. He knew how I used to be before I got sober. A mess physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially, etc. Him seeing me looking fit/strong and knowing that I was doing well in life must've ticked him off. Idk why. I thought this was worth sharing. I'm 11 months sober now as well.

I could NEVER in my life understand why someone who does the exact same thing as me - and get so much reward, praise, thanks, admiration, worship, etc. I never got any CREDIT for anything I ever accomplished - this video hits the nail right on the head!!!! This happened to me at an adult education center and me and another girl did oral presentations in similar ways - and EVERYONE in the class was worshipping the ground she walked on. I achieved the exact same goal and no one said a PEEP to me. I knew something was up and everyone acted like I didn't accomplish a thing!

I know exactly what you are talking about. I had a supernatural event when I was a child in which my dead uncle appeared before me and told me that God was in me. My 60 years of life has been just as you describe. I have worked on not taking it personally and having immediate forgiveness. But I do limit contact with the jealous, angry, and possessed.

Oh My Gosh! You hit the nail on the head. In 2020 I worked really hard on disciplining my body, I'm now really into crossfit and continue to work hard. This year I'm competing in the Crossfit Games and not kidding everyone around me acts nonchalant almost dismissive even. I don't brag at all. In fact I feel like I can't share with anyone. But I know my body is completely different...but that's not even what bothers....I invited them the the competition and was pretty much ignored. In the past would have been down, but not even phased anymore.

I literally relate to this. I go to work at a place I use to love going to over 14 yrs. I'm doing most of the grunt work. They posted all the employees names into teams for some silly game and my name was the only one not listed out of over 100 employees. Talk about feeling invisible. Many years ago I lost about 80 lbs through diet, exercise, and hiring a personal trainer. I was invited to a party from a former coworker and her response to my new physique was “You toned up a bit.” Lol! It’s funny when I think of it now. 😂 A total transformation was just “toning up a bit.” Hahahahha! It was more than just toning up, because I had seen another coworker at a church around the same time, and she didn’t recognize me at all! In fact, she started crying immediately when I told her who I was! So yea, people just love to tear you down or make light of your acheivements! I gained a lot back when I married another narc. :( Thankfully, I’m divorced and will need to get back in shape for myself this time, and not for the purpose of attracting a mate. May God give me the strength I need to overcome the mental hurdles that are required in order to do such a thing again!

I love the scripture Proverbs 24:16 "A righteous man falls seven times but gets back up". So don't be discouraged my friend. Our next choice is our best choice. As far as the toxic relationship aspect of it, I have been on that journey my whole life, especially being raised by a Narcissistic father....which in turn paved the way for me allowing those kinds of people into my life, while also mirroring Narcissistic tendencies. I have been in therapy for about 8 years for CPTSD and to be quite honest out of desperation to get out of the vicious cycles I found myself in. By the grace of God, our lord Jesus christ, my therapist and many helpful sources I am so much healthier now. But most of my battle was figuring out the root causes of things. So here are a few phenomenal books I highly recommend first and foremost the "BIBLE", "Healing your Lost inner Child" by Robert Jackman. "My emotionally destructive marriage" by Leslie Vernick, "Lies woman believe" by Nancy Demoth. Also, Leslie Vernick is a Christian psychologist who has an awesome platform to help people who struggle with mental strongholds and unhealthy relationships. Sorry if this was to much, I just really feel for you and understand somewhat of the struggle. I'm rooting for you and lifted up a prayer for you. Shalom ❤

So since they aren't so blatant about it, I didn't think they were doing anything wrong. Get told that my feelings, thoughts, and emotions aren't valid. If it didn't directly come from within the family I'm making it up. Can't grow or extend. "Just come back to the family and focus on us again and you will be protected and loved." I'll always love them all but I can't put all my energy into them. They won't help me to grow and flourish. Too protective and don't want me to think for myself/live for myself. Any sort of change I'm making gets downplayed as faking or illness. I'm really feeling so much better and happier and then... "no, you can't just make yourself happy, especially if it didn't come directly from us" is basically what they are saying. Trying to dim my light. I'll share my new insights with them, but I don't think they want to hear that our version of god/spirituality/religion is kinda perverted and immoral. 🙏🏾✌🏽💯 I have been personal training over 20 years I teach calculus at the University of Puerto Rico where I live this is the most amazing topic ever it is so hard for me to get people to understand that the key to fitness it is in about how much weight they lived it's not even really about how fast they lose weight it's not a question of whether or not they can do it it's trying to get them to believe that they can I tell people all the time it's not what others think about you that matters is what you think about yourself that counts you have no idea I walk around in Puerto Rico and I almost feel like a celebrity like a local celebrity my midsection my abdominals seem to attract a lot of attention and oftentimes I'm not paying attention to it I have my headphones on bathing suits up on yoga pants and running on the beach I had a gentleman come up to me on the beach the other day when I stopped to film an iguana hanging out in the sand and join the Sun and he told me that God wanted him to tell me that I have big blessings coming toward me real soon just to continue to be patient but he sees me and he said that he can feel my energy when I was running across the beach so anyways as a fitness professional although as chosen ones we wear many hats as you know I just really appreciate this message thank you and God bless you and your family from all of us here in Puerto Rico 🌴🇵🇷🙏🏾✌🏽

yes maam, i do know. i was a cna for 30yrs. i became very spectacular at my job, and i had a way with the old folks and they adored me. i went out of my way to get along with my co-workers, be kind, do favors, etc; but in certain jobs they were straight up abusive and disrespecful, ignoring the many good things i did. no credit was given, except when they would say another worker was involved, which most of the time they werent. well, i could go on, but i totally get you. I think the toughest thing for me is when other people's envy latches on to me. And I sometimes feel so wrong by that action/feeling/behaviour from them that I seek retaliation. Y'KNOW like I want to give others the cold shoulder for treating me less than because they had the audacity (probably wrong word) to be envious of ME. But I pray all the time that I continue to LOVE and continue to GIVE despite any wrongdoings. It is really a humbling experience to not allow the "lack" of praise diminish my success! Yes! This is something I’ve always struggled with too. I’ve had the same 2 loyal friends my whole life and have always struggled to make new ones. I know part of it is that I’m “different “ or most people would say weird. I also speak my mind which not everyone can handle but I’m funny and I care a lot about people and I would give everything I have to help someone but people don’t seem to see it and would prefer to pick me apart for my imperfections. I resonate so much with all your videos. I feel like my heart is pure and knew at a very young age I was a chosen one although didn't know it was that until adulthood but even when I succeed I don't just get credit but others are trying to destroy it too. I realize that yes I make that evil come out in others. I thought there was something wrong with me but I can't see how when I truly look at myself. PS: being real, this really helped me out a lot. I went to grad school and it took years to find a job. I didn’t want that info of my degree to be out but my team knows. With one of my coworkers, I will be face-to-face with her and it’s like I can feel her energy and hear her say, “your masters degree doesn’t mean shit.” I know that’s not me talking, so I assume it’s from her. No credit is correct, i have world champion awards, recorded many albums, and so so much more, and never celebrated only began to creat new, i don't need there validation, it's just sad how people are, there time will come to watch nowing they never supported me, but i never forget! that only me was there for me, except for my spirit team, thank you.

1 example of this is my family talks about their health problems like it's a competition but NEVER 1 TIME have asked about my health when I have a horribly painful disease for 30yrs that God helps me get through daily. Im the youngest so they act like they're jealous because Im young even though they've always been healthy & never experienced tragedy after tragedy like I have. I don't mention my pain mental or physical, I pretend I'm not in pain & they use me like a slave until I have no energy left. I'm sick of it, it's so hard to love your enemies. God help me.
