​@terryevans898 Sure, but many may also be self deceived and think they are saved but still be heading towards destruction. In these cases, the fear is gone, but it shouldn't be. And if they only would stop to examine their lives and test them with what genuine faith looks like, that fear may quickly return. So, I don't agree that only God can remove this fear. This fear may be foolishly suppressed. I also believe it's possible for some to have moments of doubt and bring in this fear in vein.
