Climate change is already taking a financial toll on the planet, with extreme weather events costing the global economy $146 billion in 2019, according to insurer Swiss Re. However, economists warn the worst is yet to come. CNBC’s Silvia Amaro spoke to IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva about how governments and business can fight back.

Actually it was 40-50years, IPCC was founded in the 70s and the pioneer Exxon ended their climate research in the early 80s because of a shockingly accurate study about the development of Co2 intensity and the warming effect. The first climate conference was in 1992 but failed because the USA exited on the last day.

Natural warming/climate change is adaptable and actually carbon dioxide and warming has more benefits than cons (like growing more food an farming in more northern latitudes) and according to logic fires are mostly caused by arson and floods have always happened look at history and the time of Noah's Arc. Climate change is all natural and we are actually cooling, if you want watch Adapt 2030 and David Dilley on youtube.

@@utkarshkunwar4319 mankind is not so relevant as to change the climate nor are they as to modify the esrth’s orbit. Since the beginning of times, the earth’s climate has been changing constantly. More heat doesn’t mean chaos but more living creatures, just take a look at hot areas on earth. More heat doesn’t mean more water, this is bullshit. The amount of water is the same, what happens now is that part of it is frozen. Solid water occupies its volume on earth, so if that frozen mass of water melts into liquid, the gross mass of water is exactly the same, the only difference now is that it is in a liquid form. This is the point Woke media avoid telling people to strike fear into individuals.

Just global GDP decrease, economical crisis, but that's absolutely necessary because there is no alternative to this if we truly want to fight climate change. It's only that this video and its protagonists still believe in a liberalist infinite growth model which is impossible by the laws of physics. Growth is actually the problem. To get growth, you need more energies, the thing is we started to have less and less energies and in 2008 and 2020, it created a major economical crisis (tied to energy issues, that's directly correlated) for that exact same reason: companies stopped working because without energies, no machine works, so people using these machines lost jobs and assets, so they commit suicide but without being a cold hearted individual: it is exactly what we need, except that people should accept it. We will need to live in a world that relies on less, a lot less than before.

*Censored Climate Facts You Should Know* 1) The *ancient ice core records* prove that temperature drives atmospheric carbon dioxide levels, but carbon dioxide levels do not drive temperature. The warmer it gets, the more carbon dioxide is released from our oceans. The cooler it gets, the more our oceans absorb carbon dioxide. 2) Over the past 420 million years, carbon dioxide levels have fluctuated between 300 and 2200 parts per million, yet life flourished, our oceans never turned to acid, and our forests did not die out due to heat. 3) The *biological proxy records* show us there is no unusual warming going on. As just one example, a Chinese archaeological based study has found that atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have no effect on climate. Dr Wu Jing, from the Key Laboratory of Cenozoic Geology and Environment, discovered that China’s winters have been warming since 4,000 BC. She found that the “Driving forces include the Sun, the atmosphere, and its interaction with the ocean.” She concluded that “We have detected no evidence of human influence." 4) *Weather balloon data* shows no greenhouse gas heat trapping effect. Father and son scientists, Dr. Michael Connolly and Dr. Ronan Connolly, conducted a review of over twenty million weather balloon flight data recordings collected since the 1950s. Using computer analysis techniques, they found that carbon dioxide in our atmosphere emits infrared light energy into Space at exactly the same rate that it absorbs infrared light energy, so the net result is nothing. They found that scientists had ignored the Newton's Cradle Effect, also known as *through mass mechanical energy transmission.* The Newton's Cradle Effect transfers energy mechanically through the atmosphere at a rate that is a thousand times greater than the thermal energy transmission mechanisms used in IPCC computer models. It is such an efficient mechanism for atmospheric cooling that it makes heat trapping through a greenhouse gas effect impossible, not just improbable. 5) By studying satellite and NASA space probe data, Dr. Ned Nikolov and Dr. Karl Zeller found they could accurately predict the long term average baseline surface temperatures of any rocky surfaced planet or moon in our solar system by knowing just two strategic facts: their distance from the Sun and their atmospheric pressure. This proves that a planet’s specific atmospheric composition of gases is irrelevant to temperature. What regulates temperature is the amount of solar energy a planet receives and the amount of atmospheric mass that surrounds the planet. The FORCE of gravity on atmospheric mass creates a thermal enhancement effect that keeps Earth’s oceans from freezing to the equator. There is no greenhouse gas effect anywhere in our solar system. Total planetary atmospheric pressure is the driver of Earth’s temperature, not any theorized heating effect created by carbon dioxide, which represents just 0.04% of our atmosphere. 6) Carbon dioxide is essential plant food that makes life possible. It is not a pollutant and not our enemy. Politicians have economically financed the promotion of climate hysteria while vilifying and censoring real climate science that follows the strict discipline of the scientific method. Humanity is paying a terrible price for this historic global political blunder. For the fascinating scientific details, please Google *The Renewable Energy Disaster + Christopher Calder + 50webs*

@@j.pgoodwin9020 yes but “fact checker” is a title no one deserves. Facts and numbers are heavily manipulated by the provider. One of the reason I quit my PhD because a set of data can be manipulated in many ways before it is used to derive a thesis. Information and words should indeed be cheaply available but no one should be called “fact checker”, just “information provider”, and that’s all. In science and medicine, many things take years if not decades to be considered factual. Yet nowadays we have fact checkers everywhere on everything. I call that BS.

@@qjtvaddict Technically he is right, there is propaganda in this video but not the way Anon thinks it. For instance, green jobs and infinite or optimistic economical growth is pure political and marketing bullshit that doesn't rely on any law of physics. If we want to fight climate change, we need to accept global GDP decrease.

Great context.everyone needs more than there salary to be financially stable.the best thing to do with your money is to invest it rightly.because money left for saving always end up used with no returns.i started investing in bitcoin mid November 2020 with the help of a well-known -professional Mr Michael Lewiston and the profit entirely funded my recent duplex.

What absolute nonsense. Read the IPCC report. There is absolutely no connection between so called extreme weather like Hurricanes and climate change! Quote"In summary, it is premature to conclude with high confidence that increasing atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations from human activities have had a detectable impact on Atlantic basin hurricane activity,"
