WHY CT SHOULD NOT KEEP OPEN?
IS IT CT WILL BLAST WHEN IT KEEP OPEN.
WHAT HAPPEN IF INSULATION FAIL ON CT?

CT life time will effect very much and also easily get saturation during heavy fault condition.

POWER TRANSFROMER -ALSO HAVE CORE LOSS IN NO LOAD BUT WHEN SECONDARY OPEN THE PRIMARY CURRENT WILL BECOME ZERO. SO THE SECONDARY VOLTAGE CREATE WILL BE AS PER NAME PLATE. ( SIMPLE -MATCHING PRIMARY VA = SECONDARY VA)
