The SAM chassis is prone to failure. If you put a laptop on it with the DDEC software, you will see faults wrapped around different fuses blown. Mine is showing the water separator and trailer light fuses shorted or blown and the fuses are fine. I'm going to change it today and the 2023 off the shelf price at FL is around $1000 with a $250 core charge.

Today I had the problem of fender lights and rear brake lights, on a Freightliner M2 Box truck flashing like hazards. ABS Light flashing on and off, then stayed on. DEF light indicating 1 red bar blinking. Had 3/4 tank. Truck also wouldn't turn over at one of my stops...got it started and just kept it on at stops...also just dealt with the lights blinking. Lost directionals, just brought it back to the warehouse, yeah I know, shouldn't have drove it. Twas embarrassing, but I'm just glad I'm home. Lmao.

The hazard module switch was the problem on my 2014 ....But the issue was the same like in this video.

My truck is a 2013 cascadia and doing this as well. Changed the module with the hazard button but that didn’t work. Then changed the central gateway module and that didn’t work. Looking to change the Sam chassis next.

Just had this problem this week on a 2012 cascadia, changed the sam chassis took it to get programmed, it turned out to be the sam cab. And the sam cab does not need programmed.

Pndb Switch is the main problem. $450 for the main PNDB MODULE in my area . Idk about yours. But Inever spend money on diagnosis.i always buy that PNDB box and change for 3 cascadia including they randomly shuts off and turn back on by themselves at highway.blinking lights like yours.

Brother hafiis I have same problem with my 2016 freighliner casdia Cummins isx15 it start on me days ago i watched other videos he says mega fuse in pndbox which is 125 am fuse with with screw on it i change that today i still have same issue ceiling light flashing no turn signal smells burn coming from the air condition area no bunk ac it was as working before deff light with yellow light come on go off sometimes flashing if I turn off and back turn light will go away. Check engine light is on Computer you said change it I think it’s but not sure with diagnostic it but it doing same as your truck doing I was think the mega fuse before I did change it today and nothing changed so sure is the computer on wall

A friend of mine got a 2012 Freighliner cascadia DD15 engine,after he deleted the Def in some shop in Chicago,he drove about 200miles and he heard some knocking on the engine with a lot of smoke coming out of the exhaust,he drove about 10miles to a truck stop and fire started to come out of the exhaust pipe,the Def system was very hot and the plastic near that was melting,and the cylinder N5 had no compression. Any ideas about what happened please? Any thoughts please?

If truck caught fire call insurance company and they will total the truck and pay in full. Don't mention about def bypass to insurance. They put heat Guage inside truck to monitor exhaust heat but mostly new mechanics ignore that.

My problem is my headlights stay on with the switch off my flasher button flash with no indicator lights lights and there's no wiper power no cruise control no Jake brakes I can't use my steering buttons to do nothing, what do you think my issue is?

Check your fuse box it could be ground issue for fuse box or some shortage issues. Most of the trucks have fuse box in front of passenger seat and due to windshield leak water can damage the fuse box and create rust/ shortage. It could be computer issue.

Same issue with mine. I replaced Sam chassis last year and now we have head lights on with switch off and blinkers and clearance lights flashing. No trailers lights working. Randomly tractor lights work normal then back ti flashing. Any ideas?

As you can see the hydraulic line for the clutch is in front of the SAM chassis, it's a manual.

Don’t believe everything you see in KZbin that’s not always the problem I purchase the brand new one for my truck and the problem is still it hasn’t been fixed you care for you gonna end up spending close to $1000 it’s not true
