Great conversation. DeeDee rocks! He’s a multi-dimensional being who knows he/she is unique. Our souls are genderless and ageless, anyway. Society programmed us to fit in and follow the lies that was taught to us by adults. The stories of the Bible is purely psychological and filled with metaphors/symbolism and not to be taken literally. Healing childhood trauma is necessary because it can still manifest in adulthood. I remember being in a coffee shop (circa 2016) where Dee’s workplace is, and I saw her for the first time while I was smoking. I love this episode because as a mother of 3 young kids, I want to know how I can support my kids, how I can be for them and how can I support and help them. This helps me to look beyond the people and not upfront. I got my first 2 tattoos when I was 43. I had been wanting to since I was 18. I’ve always been amazed of people who have tattoos! Like what Deedee said it represents courage and strength. wow this is such a moving story of Deedee, coming from someone who had been through a lot I’m really am inspired by her story. I’ve been thru an emotional abandonment and traumas, I think we should regain the power of showing kindness and love that unfortunately dimming by the harsh and unfavorable expectations of people; it’s always nice to see someone who radiates positivity despite of their lives uncertainty.
