I think he 100% has a case but I also don't think it's outrageous he's not. This current USA team has several senior members, established Olympic players in their prime, and wanted to develop the future. I think Embiid being on the team is strange because he probably should be playing for a different country and Haliburton is the clear guy that you can make a case for JB or a guy like Brunson to make the team over him. Regardless, Olympics are going to be really fun!

I probably would’ve taken JB over Booker bc defense travels and with shooting variance as it is especially in a one game elimination tournament good defense is more consistent than good offense

@@JayMessinAround Totally fair. IMO I think they view JT, Booker, & Bam as the next wave of veteran olympians (all26/27 w/ gold medals) and prob didn't want to break that up
