I have a question... Let's say that I'm a defender .. is it better to pick a tackier rubber or a less tackier rubber and does tacky racket affect the spin so much more? My friend ask this
@sten2246
@sten2246 Жыл бұрын
Definitely go for non tacky Rubber. Your objective as a defender is to kill or reduce your opponents spin. Using non tacky rubber or pips rubber will give you your best chance of achieving this. As a long term coach I am often asked many questions in regards to equipment setups and the best advice I can give is to follow what the top defenders choice is and to go along those lines.

Both Lebrun brothers trained from an early age so they had a really good head start. Also they had some trainings in the PRC so they understood some of their secrets. Now with Felix, he is a penholder so he knows that he needs to be really good in his footwork for recovery of shots. Therefore, both can improve fast. I am looking forward to them. Especially when Felix beat Ortcharov recently. That's is great for European Table Tennis' next generation going toe-to-toe against the superstars from Asia.

Perhaps these two may have moved up too fast. Not to take anything from Alexis, but Dima is inconsistent. And does not do well against unknown opponents. He has a history of losing to players of which he little to no experience against. Also, it will be interesting to see how the Lebruns handle losing. In the past they have not controlled their emotions well at all. Now that they're moving up I wonder what will happen when they hit a wall or start to slide backward once players see them more.

la question que l'on devrait plutôt se pauser c'est plutôt comment: la réponse est beaucoup de travail, de la détermination, et du talent. the question we should rather ask is how: the answer is a lot of work, determination, and talent. his brother is also going to be very high
