Aslaam. This guys one amazing human being and Muslim. I met Mr.Yusuf Estes in Madinah sharif whilst on Hajj in 2012. We spoke briefly and then departed as it was very busy coming out of Masjid e Nabi at Fajr time. He said to me "How's Hajj" in this strong American accent. He still looks the same today when giving dawah on TV and may Allah keep him strong in deen and health. This man use to be a preacher in Christianity and his family had the same background. I think his father was a preacher too and Allah gave him guidance/imaan and he accepted Islam. Now that's what you call a true Muslim and that's an example to all us so called Muslims who were born into Islam. I believe Mr.Estes as a Muslim revert is spot on in his dawah and promotes Islam as it should be (Peace). Unlike some of the crazies going about and killing everyone in the name of Islam and giving us a bad reputation. Peace

+Psychi Trip salam alaykum, the reason why we cant pray at those specific times is because ibless used to do it and so allah has forbidden us from praying at those times aswell. Though i understand what you mean if you want to make dua to allah you can at anytime, preferably after your salah because that's the best time for duas to be answered. If you want to make salah you should do it at night, before fajr, this is the best time because allah comes down to the lowest heaven and asks his servants what they want, plus you get a lot of good deeds for doing this, just search up night prayer in Islam and you'll understand what i mean, i hope this helped, anything i said wrong is my mistake and anything right is from the guidance of Allah, salam

He did say the why "to test us". the reason we are here on earth is much deeper than simply worshiping God; if you grab the Qur'an and take a look at how God describes himself and how he describes the true believer, you'll see that God wants us to be godlike, to be like him but not to the point of arrogance and to think of ourselves as gods as well, this is why we worship him to remember that there is a greater being, the greatest being so we would humble ourselves. We are here on earth to grow and in order to grow there must be the influence of good and evil, pain, suffering all contribute to our growth; as the saying goes, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. The evil was created as a test for us, as the shaikh said everyone is born with a "kareen" ie evil thats close to us as our jugular veins who whispers to us to do bad deeds and to put pride in us when we do a good deed.
