Exquisitely done. After watching these episodes, I find that this lady was in search of truths and found some but was careful enough to not ruffle any feathers of the powers that be. She kept me on the edge of my seat awaiting a great reveal only to leave us to piece things together on our own (typical professor). For her to be able to dissect various factors and compile those mysteries then lay them out revealing just enough to show how history has been covered up while taking us on a journey from one dynasty to the next is nothing short of remarkable.

I actually wanted to go on digs when I was young but unfortunately my mom had other plans for us. The US is still a young country and they have been finding mummified bodies in Florida in a bog that are around 7,000 years old, just awesome. These mummies were found intact and with brains still in their skull. If I were still young and in better health I would have loved to be an archeologist and travel the ancient worlds. @@marymcbride9134 One can learn much from history. It's the one true study that's constant, consistent and never really changes. The older I get, the more interested I become in varied histories. I only wish I'd had this revelation (or someone to guide me) in this study when I was younger...or, at the very least, to convince me of my greatest love, the history of geology. One professor gently tried but was unsuccessful. Watching diverse docs on YT, which we didn't have then, would've helped my career choices. Watch, learn and enjoy, Mary. God speed and God bless.

Go for it! I know it's not easy for everyone to go. I know you'll need a great deal of savings and/or a solid credit plan. But if it's important to you, don't leave it as a possibility; give yourself the gift. It's so worth it. Just get a good guide or read ahead and try to arrive to temples very early in the morning, when there are fewer visitors and it's not as hot--you can leave the rest of the day to explore the cities or the new museum (which is supposed to open this year). Seriously, if it's your kind of thing, watching the sunrise from the Abu Simbel temples when there's no one around is indescribable, absolutely magical. And I'm sure you'll get amazing pictures!
