I have been asked why I moved to Estonia possibly more times than I can ever count. I try to answer this question in this video. It hasn't been an easy journey, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Time stamps below:

what are the PR opportunity after completing study in Estonia ? i have seen one video and the guy said , if you gonna learn Estonian language and clear their language test then you will have the PR. Is it true ? and is it difficult to get part time job while studying? and one last question what are the demanding profession over there? I mean IT or hotel management or Electrician or Marketing ? Aitah
@MananAnwar

You can find all the details on the Police and border guard website here www.politsei.ee You will need to pass B2 language to qualify for PR. It is not so difficult to find a job, many students do that already so there is a good level of support there. IT and data sciences are the most demanding profession over here. All the others not so much. Wish you the best, take care

I get the weather thing. What's wrong with the food? Restaurants being bad? Overall food being pretty bland? A lot of milk based stuff most people outside nothern europe can't eat? Just the fact that a lot of people cook at home?
@forgottenmusic1
@forgottenmusic1 3 жыл бұрын
I guess the first thing what comes to mind is, that here, spices have too little use. And, a special note to Muslims: it's about pork, pork, and more pork. Lamb an beef are expensive and (especially lamb) not that available, if you don't eat pork, you will have to eat chicken most of the time. Also, different vegetables are not too available, too cheap, or too good quality, neither does the climate support eating mostly vegetables. So, if a "diet" of pork and potatoes is not for you, think again.

@@forgottenmusic1 I am a local and don't eat, meat, but Estonian food is fine for me :-) I just skip the meat. I was travelling in India some years ago and my belly was very happy to eat bland food again in Europe (sourcream and boiled potatos) :-) In India, even the boiled potatoes were spicy :-D After I got sick in India, my belly could not stand any spices at all. I do like spicy food for a change though, just not every day.
@MananAnwar
@MananAnwar 2 жыл бұрын
Its just my perspective, but generally the traditional food in Estonia is bland . And also as @forgottonmusic1 said below that its too much about pork, doesn't leave much room if you're a Muslim. Again that is my view and people might have significantly different views.
@merilinvaremae1995
@merilinvaremae1995 2 жыл бұрын
It’s the truth, our traditional food is bland and consists of mostly pork and potatoes. But I hate pork, I just don’t eat it. Our family likes spicy food, especially mexican. But we also like to eat grilled foods with cold sour cream sauce with simple salt and pepper. There is magic in both, just learn to enjoy all kinds of tastes ;) You are correct about the availability of vegetables and fruit, but that is the same in most nordic countries unfortunately, we are not blessed with much sunshine ☹️

Tere ! How long Do You think - that it takes to learn The Language ? Do You eat / like Estonian Food already ? Have You EVER thought to apply for Estonian Citizenship ?
@MananAnwar
@MananAnwar 3 жыл бұрын
-Depends on a person, could take three months or even a couple of years. Estonian language isn't easy -I do eat some Estonian food but most of the specialities are either pork or alcohol based so I tend to avoid that. Estonia food itself isnt that good (most of my Estonian friends agree with it) - I have thought about it and it is one of the reasons why I am learning the language.
