The Orleans is really nice for what they charge, We were there las October and enjoyed it very much. I would rate it a 8 out of 10.

I stayed at Harrahs in July and enjoyed it. I stayed in the Valley Tower room. It was newly renovated, clean, and cheap. As a woman, I loved the sit down light up vanity. Saved me room in my suitcase from bringing my light up compact travel mirror. We are returning to Harrah’s in December for Christmas. I hope to have the same positive experience that I had in July.

Yes, vegas elevation is higher than SD, we find the same thing coming from a coastal town! I don't think the dry air helps either?

Glad you gave Harrah's a second try. Have only stayed at Harrah's once in the early 2000s. The room was fine, loved the huge bathroom but the windows were tiny in the tower I was in. I like large floor to ceiling windows in Las Vegas so I felt claustrophobic at times. Walk Ons used to be Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill years ago. Ate there once. It was good but also pricey. Looked it up. San Diego is 62 ft above sea level. Las Vegas is 2,030 ft above sea level.

I enjoyed my stay at harrahs enough last year that i'm staying with them again this year. The convenience of the tram is huge, and i appreciate the bigger rooms than the linq. The noodles at fulton food hall are legit. Not the place id stay if i was bringing a partner, but for solo trips to the convention center.. harrahs works well. Also i like the lower table limits, holy hell its nearly impossible for me to play craps at Bellagio or Caesars.

I gave Flamingo so many second chances, never again!! But, I have never had any problems with Harrah’s, but haven’t stayed there in a few years. We stay at Paris and Venetian now

It maybe a small thing but what I didn’t like about Harrah’s is that they don’t have shower doors . How do people not get super cold that’s kind of the point of a shower door and to not get water on the floor . Good location gonna Check out the piano bar and carnival court . It ok don’t know if I would stay here again there are better properties for similar or not to much more in price. Yes diamond is nice to have no waiting in lines at checkout and no resorts fees

This is one of hotels on the Strip that I've never stayed at and never will. In fact, I've never been inside the Harrah's. Lol! Their pool looks kind sad, too. Ha ha!

We stayed at Harrah's last week and had a fabulous time fabulous. Prices were quite high at walk on but we did go back twice because the food was so good especially the Burger and waffle fries😊

Those communal shower liquids are a no for me dawg. I'm too germaphobic for that lol Pizza Cake is my jam! Definitely a higher elevation. 2k ft-ish in LV.

Did you tell Walk Ons server you know the owner do get a discount or comp'd meal? Use to be Toby Keith's Bar & Restaurant, food was trash and their service matched. In a forgotten or hidden part of Harrah's.

I just stayed at Harrah’s in New Orleans last month. It was so so bad, except the view and location. And it was about 3x as expensive as the one in Vegas. This Harrah’s seems fine. I would go visit on my next trip to see the changes.

@@Jaycation They just have no competition and a great location in downtown very near the water, so they can charge more and offer less. The rooms there were poorly maintained.

A group of us stayed at the Harrah’s a few years ago & they placed us above & facing the loud music so we asked to be moved. Rooms, rates & checkin before noon were decent though 👍. Am I stay there again 🤷‍♂️

The Carsars Entertainment proerties havnt exactly fallen behind There aimed more as budget resorts for a reason The properties are outdated by comparrison to the recent constructions - renovations & opening of The Fontainbleau It really isn't expected that visitors will spend time in a room With the sale of the Rio a former C.E property to Dreamscape The Caesars properties will eventually become a target for demolition if it isnt renovated

The rates will decrease on the older properties in time The race isn't really as big a problem as the 35000 union employees on strike The increase in prices are about supply & demand It's a measure of volume control to avoid overbooking
