Why Did It STOP Ticking?

Clock has to be in beat but that doesn't mean the seat board has to be level. Sometimes they are miles out.

that's very true @broadpete, I've yet to see a level house floor or mantle! For this one the clock was level and it sounded in beat so I knew the problem was elsewhere.
