Why did Jesus Need to be Baptized and why do His Followers?

The more we trust in the grace of God that we are God’s beloved sons and daughters and live into our true baptismal vows of renouncing the devil, the world and the flesh (BCP, 164), the more we will see spiritual increases in our lives no matter the circumstances around us.
