I'm with Kandi, Jodie should've said something way before 5 years. It just sounds like it's one of those cases of why buy the cow when you can get the milk free. Jodie, people are going to do what you allow them to do. Even if you get engaged your guy will still probably stall at least 5 more years. At this point y'all need to go to the courthouse. If he's not down then oh well. I would say leave but your kids have gotten attached to him. Men need to know that you will leave them if need be. Don't let him make decisions for you.
