Why did Metal Shark get that Coast Guard contract?

At the International WorkBoat Show 2011, WorkBoat online editor Sam Pfeifle interviews Metal Shark VP Greg Lambrecht about the company's recently announced contract with the Coast Guard to supply nearly 500 Response Boats-Small for roughly $190 million. Why does Metal Shark think they got the contract over other bidders and what does this contract mean for the company going forward?
