@@regfrevell6015 Nebraska died when they joined the Big 10. They have zero talent base in-state. As far as the SEC today, they have won 11 of the last 14 National Titles. Bama, Auburn, LSU, and Florida have all won National Titles.over that span. Each program making multiple National Title game appearances. Add Georgia who made the playoffs one year as well. SEC is way more than 2 teams. It just seems that way because Bama is head and shoulders better than the rest. But Bama is head ans shoulders above every other program out there.

Sorry, isn't built to compete. They don't even have 11 on 11 football. When in the big 12, they could recruit Texas, Louisiana, and other more populous areas. If they moved back to the big 12 and went back to playing power football they would instantly return to national prominence. Oklahoma has remained relevant because the big 12 allows them to recruit Texas!

We at Husker Nation are happy that Trev Alberts is now our Athletic Director. Now we have two former players at NU who know the culture and what football means to our state. The general feeling here is that if former players who know who we are can't help turn this around, then who can? But then you look at Matt Campbell at Iowa State. Look what he as done there, and a lot faster than what is happening here. Campbell never set foot in Ames Iowa before he became coach: Go figure? Where is the difference?

These folks are clueless to Nebraska’s issues. Scott Frost was given a disaster to clean up. That’s where you start. People close to the program saw 5 or 6 years at least to even get to being competitive again. What they understand stand as “Nebraska competitive” That consists of Competing for West every year. Winning their share of the West division titles. And picking off a Conference title every so often. Frost has been neck deep in cleaning house and culture change for 3 seasons. Things could finally be looking up. But still along way to go. These are the facts.

And yeah, the Big Ten is just so big and bad when Northwestern is playing in multiple conference title games and Indiana having the 2nd beat record this year 🙄

I think there's some good information here... Nebraska has to man up and admit we got fidgety and helped cause this mess... the husker program has to find a way to attract players again... but where I disagree with Keyshawn is that Frost is the right guy right now... to build a BIG 10 team from scratch takes a lot of time and effort to build... Nebraska was a top 50 on defense last season and had some high performance stats on offense just no wins... it is slowly turning the corner....

Keyshawn's son got busted for pot the first summer he was in Lincoln and left on his own before ever suiting up for a game.. Kade Warner, is not super fast and is suppose to be a possession type receiver. Last year Kade dropped two TD passes when he was wide open and he dropped another pass that would have given the Huskers a crucial first down in the second half of a game. He only caught 5 passes all season. I don't know anything about his playing status at K-State but I could not find where he has caught a pass yet after 3 games.. Luke McCaffrey is simply not a quarterback. He does not protect the ball and he is a terrible passer. Scott Frost deserves criticism for ever recruiting him to play quarterback. Watch him now that he is at Rice. He is still terrible. Should transition into being a receiver to take advantage of his natural speed. Scott Frost definitely misused Wan'Dale Robinson. Had him in the running back position. Too Small. He's playing receiver at Kentucky and performing very well.

Riley is a nice guy, but things only got progressively worse. And I think he said Scott Frost only did well at UCF because of the previous coach’s recruiting. The previous couch at UCF WENT 0 FOR 12!!! But the guy in the middle isn’t willing to attribute any of Frost’s difficulties in Nebraska to Riley’s recruiting or the culture Riley created.

Coaching is the tell-all in football because its the nucleus by which programs are grown. The AD that fired Solich was the snowball that started the effect. Pellini was a hothead-so what ? Players respect powerful leaders. Quit baby powdering tooshies and let's get back to power football, which is a solid run attack. Passing follows suit. Been a fan since 1973, and Osbourne made u pay if u coughed up the ball. It's a game of strength, not finesse. Mentally as well as physically well-prepared players will always dominate in this sport-not players who are used to being coddled to. Grow up and lead by example.

Soft conference then usually lose to Oklahoma. Remember if they beat OU high level bowl game. If they won that then there was a vote for the champipnship. For Nebraska to be good they need to win. For them to win they need confidence building opponents. Nebraska should go to the Mountain West. Mountain West ... it for the Best!
