@@OLDZJODN -- it doesn't destroy save files, it's just the emulator freezing up caused it to never actually apply the changes to the save file in the first place

@@octability -- all issues were with the emulator, the game on hardware is fine. hell the game on properly set up dolphin is fine I just had a very borked install and net play is still in development

@@ItsCenrryTH -- tbf isn't really something that happens on hardware, it was just an issue with the fact that I reinstalled windows twice since I last used dolphin and the data in my bios folder was outdated af 😭
