My son was into music and dance. I supported him but watched like a hawk to make sure he was being treated okay. When dance rehearsals went late and he wanted to stay. I took his wishes into account but when it got too late then I took him home. That was my job as his mother. Directors and adult dancers get wrapped up in their work and forget they are dealing with kids so the voice that needs to protect young artists is the voice of their parents. The laptops, both of them, that MHJ used, belonged to Hybe. They can do whatever they want with them. To imply that it is illegal for them to extract information is not only incorrect, it shines a bright light on the fact that she is desperate to hide things that she might have foolishly put onto a *COMPANY OWNED* laptop that was also tied to company owned networks and cloud storage. Number one rule in business is to only use your own personal phone, tablets, laptops, and CPUs for personal items. Your business technology is only for business usage and can be confiscated and/or monitored by the company at their discretion. Misuse of business technology has repercussions of penalties, demotion, suspension, firing, and even being transferred to law enforcement attention and the justice system. "They have no right to look at it," is a childish and misleading argument. I've personally seen coworkers fired and escorted from the building after misuse of business technology. We all know that trainees and idols know that they always have a camera on them, even when minors. It's why they are always fully clothed, including sleeping in pajamas. The only place that they have an expectation of privacy is in the bathrooms, locker rooms, and other changing areas. To attempt to claim that *ANY* recording should not be released is disingenuous. Hybe paid for everything as current owners, and as the purchaser of previous owners. It all belongs to them 100%. And being minors is no longer relevant once the parents and guardians sign contracts on their behalf. Only rules about putting minors into compromising positions is forbidden. Camera footage of their lives as trainees and idols is not forbidden. The deliberate gaslighting is aggravating. The fact that the manipulations sometimes work on NPC KNetizens is sad, yet predictable. They were being housed and fed by a company. They were provided instructors, trainers, coaches, and choreographers by a company. They were provided practice spaces and studio spaces by a company. They had contracts with a company. Every single audio and video recording belongs to the company, which they surely acknowledged in the contracts. They probably could have even gotten in trouble if any individual or group unilaterally released any company recorded images without company permission to protect the company branding. Even BTS members always had staff involved behind the scenes during most of their lives in the early years. To claim that a company can not release the work product that the company recorded itself is ludicrous. I'm just a gal over in the USA; but I am increasingly desiring to see MHJ get her karma boomerangs up side the head. I want all of her lies and manipulations to be exposed. I want the NJ members and their parents to publicly acknowledge how they were misled and to renounce her. I want to see the evidence publicly released of all of the personal and financial harm that she caused every artist, employee, and shareholder under the Hybe umbrella. It will trigger the clawback of her compensation. Thus, she and her deputy lose the 18% and 2% shares. They get held accountable for damages in criminal and civil court. The conspiracy charges are upheld. I fully expect to see her in life-altering debt, no longer tied to Hybe, and behind bars. Anyone exposed to business practices, shareholder rules, legal systems, etc can clearly see so many underhanded behaviors that IMHO will be proven to be illegal. It's all allegations now, so she's gaslighting the South Korean citizens with her news conference tantrums. Only ignorance of relevant information and/or a propaganda fed hatred of Hybe can allow any delusional person to think that MHJ is the victim in any of this. This is why the toxic KNetizens are trying to cover for her, while the International audience is nearly 100% against her. We can see her for who she is. We can't diagnose her without a license; but she's displaying all of the signs of a narcissist that is now scrambling as all of her lies and conspiracies are being pushed into the public eye. Her tricks are no longer working. This is a test of the South Korean judicial system if it will hold her accountable, or if it will let her be the crying poor girl abused victim that she's trying to portray. Ugh. BTW, I haven't seen any factual information about the NJ members' views lately; but they should be ashamed of themselves to participate in anything that is against the BTS members, BigHit, and Hybe. Those guys adopted them and personally promoted them as the little sisters. They received the original predebut and debut attention because ARMY and BTS backed them as family. It is shameful that they allow MHJ and Ador to slander and defame the very men and companies that helped to launch them into instant international focus.

It's almost more distressing for me that the parents are waging this media campaign against Hybe, harming a company that provided their kids with the careers they are now enjoying, moved them into a luxury penthouse, plus relieving them of all debt and paying them millions after only one year post-debut. Not to mention everything they were able to shortcut in their journey by being associated with BTS. The level of ungratefulness is astounding! The parents working with MGJ to make Hybe appear to be the bad guys in all this makes me breathless with anticipation of justice being served. IT's become too much now.

Remember, she's a marketing expert. She attaches her name so strongly to NJ and Ador, that they can't survive (disputable) without her. Not her actual work, but just her name. She literally 'owns' the brand without owning it. So, if she is fired, Hybe still owns the brands, but it's worth nothing. They would have to literally rebuild Ador, invest further, what for? She wanted it, not them. Since it's all worthless by then, they all hail MHJ because it was all better before (that's her plan, disputable). Then they let the empty shells go, as they are worth nothing, don't work and bring in nothing. And lots of bad blood, distrust and wasted investment. And guess what her plan was from the beginning?! Great video. I don't know any of them. But from what you shared and experience in big multinationals, I think you are onto something. PJ might end up being royally paid into a strategic position either in another company, furthering his own career maybe even overseas, or to develop further a new department or project of Hybe he is most qualified for, but gives him more privacy. He has done a great job for Hybe so far and will be snatched. Of course he could also decide to go on a sabbatical to recharge... but it might end up a hiatus - BTS style 🤣. Either way, it's defusing the situation to Hybe's advantage and they have always been most strategic about their expansion. I have not kept up with the Source Music part of the story, but I am going to 100% disagree with a portion of your statement. We absolutely CAN blame Source Music IF they mistreated Minji or any of the trainees in any way, including giving them substandard living conditions. I'm not sure if I believe anything the parents say at this point. However, the parents should have taken action if the children were being mistreated in any way. But also, Source Music shouldn't have put trainees in that position in the first place, 1st-because the trainees are minors in the company's care, and 2nd-because the trainees are the future bread-and-butter for the company. While it is my opinion that Min Hee Jin is a trash human being, Source Music should also be responsible for proper treatment of their trainees. I don't understand why the SK government has yet to put into place some basic standards for the trainees in the industry, especially since so many idols and trainees have come forth with horror stories.

I have so many questions about what is on that second computer. If She's innocent, why not hand over the laptop? With the first laptop, if it is the property of Hybe, why would the police get involved if they did have it restored? Whatever was on that laptop belongs to them because the laptop belongs to them. I always thougth it doesn´t make sense to train a group and then someone else take it as it was nothin' like how? i put my efforts in this group and suddenly someone else take it? other thing that is kinda strange. my question is what sort of parent allows their kid to walk around at 2am at night? Couldn't the kid have called them? Couldn't they have gone and picked up the kid? Leave the label, they as parents have the first and foremost duty, more than a music label to protect their kid. Why weren't they doing their part? Also if u saw that your kids were living in unhygienic conditions, then why didn't you take them out of the place? Why didn't you voice your concerns as a complaint? Why didn't they do that? They were ok with all of this as long as the kid got successful. They are no better than the label in my humble opinion. 🙏

She was probably up with other trainees. No label kicks out their trainees if they want to train more than the mandatory lessons - despite being minors. Only the hardest workers have a chance to debut. But training is more successfull when you do it with others. Nevermind that Seoul is pretty safe. Not everyone babies people that age. The unhygenic conditions seem a bit of the norm in Seoul - I blame the weather. You will find that Idols of pretty much all labels have spoken about it - even Twice and BP members. Everthing "hygenic" is expensive and not something afforded by pretty much all labels (Seoul is f* expensive!). I think HYBE is different and now houses trainees better but we will have to see if that is true.

@@ruthfischer7615 Yes, I'm wondering what "unhygienic" is to them. Most apartments, even houses, develop some mold, especially in the bathrooms or windows. There is no evidence that the building didn't pass rental inspection either. It is also reasonably easy to clean and paint over mold. If Source Music hadn't taken action, the parents could have even cleaned and painted the apartment for their daughter, and bought air machines to keep mold out. All the issues they are stating seem comparable to boarding school dorms and could have been resolved with proper intervention. They clearly wanted to secure their children's place in the agency. For the sake of their kids, they still could have solved those issues themselves.

There is more info about the CEO exit. The former CEO had a contract and it was up. They have been planning this transition since earlier this year. Also, the new CEO is one of the new Board members of ADOR. I don’t know what that means as far as MHJ’s bogus lawsuit, but it still seems to be a good thing that he will be the new CEO for HYBE and directly involved with ADOR

Do the parents of these wannabe idols NOT know or heard of the harsh living conditions these idols live in such as small cramped rooms, small buildings, not enough food, etc..working long hours and having a strict diet and practice regimen. It is a VERY rare idol who did not go through all of that. Maybe lately, especially in Hybe, living conditions are better when starting out but there is still the expectation of rigorous training and long hours. Even I, who is nowhere in the Korean entertainment industry read and see this on KZbin. The parents are right there in South Korea. If they were that concerned and or any of the NJ girls did not want to do it, someone needed to say something and not leave it up for the companies. There was maybe some pushing from the parents to be an idol no matter what the cost? Who knows with some parents. Companies are there to make money and whoever has the skills, look, and is willing, they will take them.

I still don't understand the laptop business. It is common practice for companies to back up all information in the Cloud. Additionally, anything done on a company laptop is available for the company to see. Why would MHJ think that anything she did or said on company tech was private?? What do I think? 1. That Dispatch has their information from the stuff that was given to the external firm for auditing does not actually say that HYBE (or someone in HYBE) gave DISPATCH the information. It could also mean that the source is e.g. an intern in this external company or e.g. from the police etc. because this information is quiet certainly also now in the hands of the police for the lawsuit. That and even if someone in HYBE provided the report it could be an intern/no one important. 2. Context: Even BP and Twice members have spoken about having coackroaches in their dorm. It does not seem that rare in Seoul. Weather is probably part of it. Even TXT spoke of muchrooms in their practice room. Nevermind that I have also heard such stuff since the late 90s/early 2000s about New York apartments. (these are not houses that stand seperate in either Seoul or NY) and more recent claim from the US that it is impossible to prevent from having something living in your walls. I guess that may also be on building material. Even training till 2 am may not have been a mandate by Source Music but if you want to debut you need to work harder and they will not throw you out of the dance studios. Likely other trainees will also be there. I doubt she was very often alone on her track back. About quitting schools... I can understand suggesting it because it "steals" time from training. But it could never be enforced and may only have been said out of frustration that trainees where not there for lessons because they needed to be in school. Adults can be calous like that not registering that they are possibly destroying a trainees future as it is inconvenient to them. It may also have been not that serious but understandable it sounded more serious to a 13 year old (or older) child whose dreams are not secure in the first place. To that comes that it is really expensive to debut a group. Renting a dorm in Seoul is also not cheap at all. Which has also consequences for the living conditions. It is very strange to me how Korean netizens on KZbin on this matter, such as those commenting under Dispatch’s KZbin video as well as BeLift’s always seem to be irrationally and hysterically one sided for MHJ. Not so much for the girls of NJ. If they are pretending to be NJ stans, they just couldn’t help themselves in the end, as their masks slipped to reveal that it is MHJ they are really supporting and not NJ. Then I realized something. Second generation kpop stans are mainly SM stan because kpop Stan are stanning for power, not for music. That’s why they easily left groups behind and moved on to other younger groups. The idols aren’t humans. They are idols. Blank avatar created by their true god, the kpop companies they worship, to fill the emptiness inside and to take them away from how oppressive and helpless their real lives are. Then HYBE changed everything for them. Influx of global fans making the conversations around kpop bigger and more intelligent. International fans used to be treated like an unimportant annoyance now they have the power. We demand more from their music. We don’t mind idols dating. We support idols smoking if that’s their choice. Just to name a few. Most importantly, their group, the companies they stan, therefore their own sense of selves they have learned to invest in the performances and triumphs of the groups and the companies, are all threatened. MHJ is a remnant of SM and this past glories. Her fans constantly go on and on about groups like F(x) and EXO. MHJ is their mascot to fight for what is a crumbling collective realities. It is interesting to see how unhinged they are and their inability to process information coupled with a strong sense of delusion. It reminds me of cult like behaviours. Hybe should fire MHJ and pay the penalty. They need to be done with it. Based on the text messages, MHJ’s plan to break the multi label system is working because, she’s got labels within Hybe, suing each other. She really is a product of the SM culture. The worst thing BSH did is to bring her in from SM. Hybe needs to stay away from any more hirings of people from SM. Also, I don’t agree that they will be de-escalating the issue. The CEO is in charge and responsible for what goes on in the company, he would still have to explain and address questions on this whole mess. What would be interesting is to see if he makes changes in policy/procedures and re-organising the company structure. That will give an idea of his management style. It seems like the CEO needs to get a little more aggressive in managing the company. By aggressive I mean put better controls, policies and procedures in place to prevent this happening. As the new CEO is also on the board to Ador, I wonder if Hybe put him there knowing he was going to become the new CEO. I’m also wondering why the Board of Ador aren’t stopping MHJ and all her media play and law suits. They could put new policies in Ador to control her management of the label. There needs to be a gag order put on MHJ by the Ador Board and shareholders until her contract ends or she gets fired, which ever comes first. Hybe should also slash Ador’s budgets to stop the milking of BTS generated revenue being sent to this label.

All I would like to say is, these people are supposed to be the smartest and brightest in the game... But they're proving they're not! I hope this doesn't get blocked when I say this, because it's not my intention to be offensive or to glamorize this industry or rather this particular industry, but a well-known drug dealer or former drug dealer in America, once said " stay off the phone! " There's a very popular television drama called BMF, that tells the story of this drug dealer and family. So I say that to say this in the 21st century, laptops are like telephones, people especially these people if it was their objective and goal to destroy and bring down a company that they didn't put blood sweat and tears into, they should have kept their plan off of the laptops. I do think that Minji’s mother should’ve pulled her out of Source Music as soon as she learned about the conditions of the dorms but at the same time, Source Music shouldn’t have had trainees living in dorms like that. Two things can be true at once. Source Music needs to be held accountable but Minji’s mom should’ve done her duties as a parent as well. I get wanting to support your daughters dreams but their safety comes first.

i think Hybe might be scared what mhj next move is going to be and what evidence she might have so if the ceo is somewhat involved it´s just easier to demote him temporaraly until it all blows over. so lets say mhj had msg of the ceo she is now not able to use them bacause he is no longer the ceo and hybe could also claim they found out and then demoted him. i think it´s a safety net just in case. of corse no ceo is innocent they all have done some things i am sure, but what mhj has done is next level. she was working on a long time plan to take over ador and ruin hybe from within. Maybe the ceo ordered the labtop check so by removing him mhj didn´t have any case. but idk i think they both have done shitty things to each other. just by looking at mhj @ its clear that she is a terrible person. the way she talks.. like that woman who was fired because of the sexual accusation thing. But what worries me the most is that amoung all of hybes employees at least a handful of them must hate hybe. What is mhj find them and makes them tell her stuff about hybe. maybe what is going on behind closed door could also be a cleaning lady who might heard something. but whatever it might be mhj still need proof of that. one thing she failed at was making the labels hate eachother. i mean sure they might not like eachother but for now they have one common enemy who is trying to ruin all their groups so they work togehter so that was a thing mhj didn´t expected becaue now all of them is suing her.
