Top stuff, lads. LZ: Bit of a random one (and nothing to do with cards), but have you seen the documentary 'Fly'? I think it's pretty recent. You said your 'super-power' would be flying... the documentary follows BASE jumpers, and some wearing those incredible flying suits. VERY dangerous... but boy do those guys and gals live!!! Decent documentary, but certainly highlights the caution that the 'sport' should be approached with. 👍

Oh man, great video and totally get the stuff left from Mom and Dad. After YEARS of our garage being full of their stuff and my wife being so patient and kind, I finally went through it and it wasn’t my Mom’s stuff she kept but mine. That’s how I got back in the hobby. She kept all my Star Jordans, 86 Fleer, comics, vintage Star Wars toys and He-man, etc. I thought it was all gone! But it took me 8 years to muster up the courage to go through their stuff 😮

There’s already lots of manufacturers who tap in to other franchises like Rittenhouse (Doctor Who, GoT, Star Trek, also had Valiant at one point), Cardsmiths (street fighter, mega man), Dynamite Entertainment (Transformers 40th anni cards) but they all get much less exposure and hype compared to the likes of Topps and Panini. The stuff is out there and the likes of Rittenhouse actually make some really decent stuff too.

'Delta House'... Animal House story was written by a college friend of my father's about fellow Dartmouth fraternity guys in the early 60s... met many of them in the early 70s and they were pretty true to the story... The CEO of Netflix bought my favorite western ski mountain(Powder Mtn in UT) and doubled the lift ticket prices in 2-3 years... PSA prices will yo-yo along with the indicators that tell them the hobby is strong(what better indicator of the hobby's strength than PSA submissions?)... and SGC is now there forever, reasonable, discount alternative... what you won't see are drastic moves to make submitters happy because that will jack up submissions and turnaround times will spike... rinse/repeat...
