Hi Dr. Harini Bhat! I absolutely love the topics you discuss and I appreciate all the hard work you do to provide us so much in depth information. I used to have TikTok but have since deleted it. The only channel I religiously watched was yours. Is there any way for you to post your TikTok videos on here as well? Maybe in a playlist? I would love to keep up with your discoveries - especially with Cleopatra tomb!!!! I trust your research and love that you’re a woman passionate about history (much like myself, even though I’m not in that profession Lol!) They don’t have to be edited or anything to fit the typical KZbin video, but I love watching your channel when I drive, work, clean, or simply just to watch the videos as well! Thank you!!! :-)

Fun fact about horses. They were actually originally from the Americas. And migrated over land bridges then died out in the Americas. Then were brought back. So horses original home (urheimat) is the Americas!

My initial thought was that Mexico City is an incredibly seismic location and teotihuacan has been the epicenter for many of them as recently as 2017, so I wonder if this had anything to do with either an evacuation for safety reasons and/or correlated to religious beliefs. Loved the video, lots of love from Mexico!

That’s a great thought! Some sort of natural disaster is believed to be a strong reason so it could be!

Great video! I visited Oct. 2021(unfortunately due to covid restrictions we couldn't climb the pyramids) It was kinda a spiritual experience! ...I didn't get the same feelings when I visited Uxmal or Chichen Itzu. (though those were also great sites) There's def. something special about that place and I would love to go back! That's terrible they were gonna tear down some of it to build an amusement park! I'll donate to that foundation. What is the link? I didn't see it.

Loved this info… I know it’s a stretch but could the Teotihuacan people have migrated north? The only sight I see with similar architectural style is Cahokia, the mounds are stacked in a similar fashion?

536 AD civilizations around the world collapsed due to volcanic cloud cover stemming from a massive volcanic eruption in Asia and smaller eruptions worldwide. This led to crop failure and revolt and desertion. Check it out, it’s fascinating! Teotihuacan is a special, beautiful place built by people who were Native to this continent. Not spaceships. Those guys were playing in Europe!

There is large chambers of mercury under the pyramid. Similar to in china. I imagine something to do with gold production.

There’s a theory and it makes sense where the ruling council were priests as it is evident of their presence in the apartment walls and especially in the ceramics. There are figurines that can open up and inside them are little priests acting as the blood, veins, and heart of the person. So with that being said, there was a lot of trust in these priests and when they couldn’t deliver on their promises such as crops, good weather etc., the people more than likely turned on them and burnt down the temples. It is a known fact, Teotihuacan suffered from deforestation due to a large population and couldn’t sustain itself, and the priests thought by sacrificing people in large numbers, would somehow bring back quality of life. The citizens figured out the religion was a sham and hence destroyed the city in anger and betrayal.

Did someone really take what was down the tunnel or is it the archeology once again not saying what they have found as it goes against everything we have ever been told for thousands of years.

I just went there last week… it was raining on us… Didn’t get to stay as long as I planned. Got there randomly once we arrived from our modest hotel & started to walk there, arrived by ATV. Got a local tour guide to break it down & was super helpful & knowledge about the site. Such cool people there. So blessed to have met the folks we came across there… Really a magical place & the details given made it that much more pleasurable to experience… 🇲🇽 🛕 🙌
