" The precious human birth is extremely rare, while hell beings for instance, are said to be as numerous as atoms, Yidaks as the sands of the Ganges, animals as snowflakes, and gods of the higher realms as stars in the night sky. those having the Precious Human Birth are said to be as rare as daytime stars." --- From the book Kalu Rinpoche : The Dharma

Buddha spoke about re-birth ---- because he was HINDU---- born and nurtured in HINDU CULTURE/HINDU RELIGION --- and therefore believing in re-incarnation ----birth after re-birth ---- again and again. So BUDDHA was obsessed with birth and re-birth ----- and MUKTI was not to have re-birth again---- and just pass into a state not return to earthly life---- returning to earthly life was returning to hell!!

So NIRVANA ( OR MUKTI) is not to return back to this earthly re-birth. End of birth and re-birth cycle. So if not borne again, reaching where -----to a state of non-existence , a state of NIRVANA!!

Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu. The collapse of the wave function in quantum mechanics suggests the existence of many worlds. There is a theoritical explanation about it. Arguably, we can guess the existence of Dark Matter as 2 types of Matter that exist during the arising moment and dissolving moment of our matter and/or mind. However, according to Buddhism, the mind is a virtual (non-local, ‘Athathya’) phenomenon that can manifest in virtual realities. Accordingly, it is relatively invisible between realms (levels of existence). “There are clear separations between different types of realms/worlds and sub realms in Buddhism (31 Loka/worlds). The first 5 worlds are Hell, Animal, Hungry Ghost, Asura, and the Human world. But there is no big difference between humans and animals. So If we say that humans and animals live in only one world, there are only 4 below the 6 Deva worlds. Above, there are 10 Brahma worlds with Brahma beings who can enjoy bliss. There are 6 more Brahma worlds from ‘Asaññasatta’ (Satta/beings with no cognitions) world to 4 ‘Immaterial worlds’ (‘Arūpa-Loka’). ” Those groups of worlds (4+6+10+6+4 worlds) show a balance (4, 6, 10 & 10, 6, 4) like a dimensional balance. Seemingly there are worlds as groups ((10, 10, 10) or (4, 6, 10, 10) or (4, 6, 10, 6, 4)) and subgroups ((4, 6) & (6, 4)) too. But as humans, normally, we can’t see the Deva and Brahma worlds. Perhaps some worlds are visible to other worlds. That visibility could depend on natural reasons. E.g., Suppose most living beings always have/use only 1 moment (Ṭhiti moment) of consciousness in the 3 moments in a Chitta/mind mom. In that case, some Matter/Rūpa Zones/Kalāpa would emerge before or later, without aligning with our Chitta moment. And then, those beings wouldn't see Uppāda (arising) and Bhanga (dissolving) moments consciously, when other Matter Zones appear as a result of the Ṭhiti (existing) moment in them. As if using an energy moment that starts before or after the start of the living moment of others. However, that level of visibility can change depending on the power of the mind/Chitta. Some great and wise people said they could see invisible beings (E.g., Ram Bahadur Bomjon). So perhaps some people may have the ability to change the wave pattern in their mind (mind/wave moments) to see the generally invisible moments.! So, it is a scientific possibility.

The collapse of the wave function is explained in three ways - many worlds - pilot wave - copenhagen interpretation I think Buddha wasn't coming from a perspective of intellectual speculation, but rather from the point of direct seeing

@@alexshapiro9841, Yes. I developed a theory that can explain the wave function. According to my theory mainly there are 32 planes of existence. But Buddhism mainly mentions only 30 worlds. Perhaps, the first and last planes are not habitable.

The problem is that there are many different interpretations of rebirth, and at the most, only one of them is correct. And the one that is correct is not the one that Buddhists generally believe. Becoming a monk does not mean you have been born as human. That's not what the teaching is about. The realms of existence are the mental states that we experience in each moment here-and-now.

Are you saying that not following the Buddha automatically causes rebirth in a hell world? Even if you have lived a virtuous, honest life? Really? Also, the story you told in another video about the beautiful girl and her being insulted by the Buddha and sent to hell for the crime of insulting him back, is very suspect, And I doubt it came from the Buddha, or even happened. Such stories are not helpful, because they are not even close to being believable, and are clearly contrary to the principles of Buddhism as written in the Pali Canon. I mean no disrespect, this is just my (unenlighted) opinion.

Buddha also said to question things and find the truth for yourself, I think it is more of if you have disagreed and or insult the Buddha, who is principle is only believed to be saying things that should be helpful to you, your peace of mind, you are set in your ways and can't be convinced of what might liberate you from your problems and thus continue your suffering in a hellish realm/state. If you thought of it as a possibility, and you search for the truth from observation of phenomena yourself, you might even be considered a stream-enterer to some degree.

Rebirth is for all beings. Even Buddhists could be rebirth in hell because of their unwholesome mind and deeds. Anyway, the Buddha did not send anyone to hell. But the hatred, anger and the unwholesomed mind of her.

Where did Buddha say not following him leads to hell? Don't mix Abrahmic teachings with Buddhism.

Rebirth in hell has nothing to do with following the Buddha. It’s to do with keeping precepts 🙏🏻❤️💎

Well it depends on your own definition of Buddhism. It is only word, nothing more. And because of suffix "-ism" You have some concept of it? Concepts are not important at all
