Something tells me that we're going to get an Anti Villain Arc with Hanto going Heel turn sooner rather than later and all of this is leading up to Chocold being Hanto's 'Real' Rider form. To his credit though, he hasn't gotten his ass handed to him repeatedly after calling himself a Top of the Line Alchemist though. I mean all the fights Valen loses it just feels like G3 where it's not necessarily because he's a bad fighter, but he's just outgunned, outnumbered or both. It's not like he came into the fight talking shit only to get Yamcha'd for most of the show like a certain Purple Fraud from the last Series though, so there's that. Valen is a badass for even making his shit work. I mean killing a Monster of the Week right after Surgery is up there with Buffa killing a Jyamato Rider in Entry Form with his bare hands and some Jujitsu levels of Metal right there, so Hanto's got that going for him.

Of course they repeated the last 3 minutes of the last episode. They dropped the most fire disrespectful fight scene in all of Toku of the past century. Of course they'd use it again. Jokes aside; I'm giving mad props for the conversation that Hanto had with Shoma on that staircase. If this was ANY Heisei show they'd let their MiScOmUnIcAtIoNs simmer for the next 30 episodes and then make up in 15 minutes. Having Hanto *actually* ask the questions like a real human being and having Shoma *willingly* not answers thing is so much more natural of a conflict. I give them major props because they could have milked this for the entire season but they're choosing the most satisfying route that could potentially close narrative doors in the long term FOR THE SAKE OF QUALITY WRITING. Junko Komura is absolutely killing it this year. And to be fair, the fight with Glotta was like 3 months ago IRL, and the bulk of the mom flashbacks too, just because we are a very specific kind of audience, doesn't mean that *everyone* that actually watches this show on tv on release would remember. The forms have been interacting with the onomatopeas too. Fuwamallow floated with the words on its debut. Zakuzaku cracked theirs. I'm pretty sure even Punching Gummy's fizzes right out with the rest of the overflowing soda. They have consistently been things interacting with the enviorment. And it does seem like Shoma will be shielded by a "Juicy" next episode, if the preview is to be trusted.

Hanto just keeps on taking beatings! It makes sense though. He’s a rookie fighter and a human who lacks the Granutes’ natural enhanced strength and abilities. He does just fine against Part-Timer Granutes. It’s only when he’s up against one of the Siblings, Vram, or a Part-Timer backed up by Agents that he’s completely outmatched and takes a pummeling. I’m really interested in Shoma finally meeting Suga and vice versa, as shown in the preview for next time. Suga’s been wanting to meet Shoma for a while, and he seems to be equally interested in Shoma’s evolution as Gavv. Not to mention that he knows full well Shoma’s a Granute. Suspiciously though, back in episode 3 when he first encountered Shoma with Hanto, Suga seemed to figure out immediately that Shoma was a “special” organism different from a regular Granute. And the one instance he showed anger so far was when Shoma fled from him and Hanto the first time, after Suga had “finally found one.” Shoma seemed to be the one Suga REALLY wanted to work with; Hanto may have just been his “Plan B.” Suga finally getting to meet and talk with Shoma may get the ball rolling on what his motivation is and what the end goal of his “work” is. Up till now, it hasn’t been revealed yet what Suga’s getting out of his dealings with Hanto and Nyelv and what he intends to use his research for. I have a sneaking suspicion that Suga’s going to be Bitter Gavv, whose Primary Form suspiciously seems to be a darker-colored version of Shoma’s Popping Gummy Form. The Bitter Gavv Driver may be Suga’s own “masterpiece.” And I wouldn’t be surprised if Bitter Gavv’s debut is something that catches Nyelv off-guard for the first time and finally causes him to lose his cool, especially if Bitter Gavv’s user is Suga. And you know, since Lage-9’s inevitably going to defect from Stomach Inc. soon, maybe Bitter Gavv will fill in the new “job opening” and become the company’s new “Hunter.” All the while having his own dark agenda and ambition of course that’s not necessarily the same as the Stomach Siblings’.

So, I'm now 100% sure we have a Prince Alain 2.0 here with Vram and he will be joining the team later on. As for my opinions on the flashbacks, I don't mind them. So long as there's an actual purpose behind them, whether it be recapping the end of an episode or expanding on a character's motivation, then I'm fine with them. It's when they feel unneeded that I roll my eyes. I still rather liked this episode though. It helped show the Vram, while allied with the Granutes, isn't just another dark treat lover.

If he’s not added to the next opening, then calling it he’s a guest spot character. Maybe he’ll be defeated early or surrender his driver to other siblings. The middle bro probably have a remote that can control him through his driver if he misbehave. The brother might be planning to be the leader instead of lango through experimenting stronger driver. If this is like any previous series the writer wrote, then lango might sit down until the final form debut get defeated and comeback stronger in the final arc. A lot of flashback not a lot of screen time for the elder sister after that one fight with valen. Sachika can be pink vram through her secret alter ego or corruption brainwash plot line. Do wonder if all the human disguises are previous human before they became spices like in lupin ranger.

I think Vram is a “Red Herring” for the season’s Dark Rider role. The REAL Dark Rider is probably gonna be Bitter Gavv, who, judging from what little we see of him on the Q2 poster, certainly looks the part. My money’s on it being Suga, especially since all the Stomach Siblings already have powerful monster forms and don’t need to be Riders.
