@@BJGvideos No. just Mario and Luigi, but was manipulated by Bowser. The stadium exploding was when a lit bob-omb got stuck in their bob-omb cannon by Mario hitting it back once it was fired causing the stadium to explode.

This is 100% a game where you dance to play. It's the only game that used the Nintendo Dance Pad. Also the soundtrack unironically slaps, although it's mostly because all the music is from other Mario games like Wario World and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year door which are just remixed into EDM bangers or they're songs ripped directly from DDR. Also DDR is like, the one arcade game people still play in the US. Jaiden was spot on with her description because every con I go to has one Asian guy cosplaying some obscure character I've never seen absolutely destroying the machines for hours.

Not gonna lie, I unironically loved this game as a kid and it's still a guilty pleasure now. Partially because I love Mario music so much and partially because it's the only real DDR experience I've ever had outside of random arcade machines. I only wish I still had the dance pad that came with it because you CAN use a controller but it's just not the same.

I feel the exact same way. I was legitimately hyped for this when I was a kid, and I still kinda love it, mostly for the music and the fact that it's the only Mario game you'll ever see Mario characters bust a move like this. 😂 It's from an era of Nintendo when they weren't afraid to get really experimental with their IPs.

They had a soft dance mat with a gamecube controller plug on it. You could also plug in a normal gamecube controller and use the buttons to control it, which I ended up having to do by the time I got to the waluigi on my medium playthrough because I'm nowhere near as good as Jaiden who is playing on the hardest difficulty and winning somehow.

Honestly, this Game is just like all those "Step up" movies. Dirty Dancing, Foot lose might not fall into that category, but you get what i mean? "There is a Problem? Let's dance!" Like a Disney Movie, one Song and Dance and everything is fine again🤷‍♀️

i think the mario ddr game had a dance pad you could use but yeah actual ddr is legic using your feet to do the inputs and it goes alot harder then the mario one

You mentioning Beat Saber just reminded me of a channel I think you'd like called Upisnotjump he specializes in VR games and is mostly known for his series called _(insert game here)_ is a Nightmare (or Not a Nightmare if the game is good enough) So I recommend Beat Saber is Not a Nightmare trust me he is hilarious
